  1. Its not quite as straight forward as that. You can see a surge or a pick up on certain bets, but its not like someone is going to just go to one bookie and stick a million on the nose for West Ham to win. I'm sure there's nothing in it anyway.
  2. Those 'Asians' always sat behind Ferguson have been going years and are local lads, Salford I think.
  3. While the usual bores have used this thread to post abuse at Alpine, something definitely wasn't right about this game. Watch the highlights back again. Got a mate in the book-making industry that spotted a fair old surge of betting on West Ham Sat morning, not enough to really get anyone looking into it though.
  4. You think people were making up what they were told? Our ticket office is f******g useless, there's no getting away from it.
  5. He was s****e, but so was the rest of their defending, certainly more than just a bad day.
  6. While any sort of bribe is very, very unlikely, anyone that watched the game/extended highlights, the level of poor defending was more than just a bad day at the office, it was the worst I've seen for a long, long time in any game and this from a half decent Brighton side. Certainly a very "strange" performance if nothing else.
  7. To be fair that video properly cracked me up, worth a watch.
  8. It wouldn't be our 28th year in the top flight.
  9. I get behind every single one of our players when at the match but I fully reserve the right to have a moan when back in the pub or on here.
  10. Oldham. No promotions or relegations for a very long time.
  11. Got to laugh.
  12. I still think he's better suited to playing with a left-back that overlaps, than a "Danny Fox" type player.
  13. No-one is saying he isn't any good! It's probably because he is such a class player that things like his final ball can be frustrating - surely worth discussion on a football message board?
  14. To be fair, Schneiderlin is a much, much better player than Chaplow.
  15. Surprisingly we haven't missed him anywhere near as much as I'd expected. Hammond and Cork have both been very good in the last two games.
  16. Fonte has struggled from the start of the season. Big surprise as I had expected him to have stepped up easier than anyone else.
  17. What a pointless, petty, childish post.
  18. He must have been as good as fully fit yesterday. No-way could he have played that well otherwise.
  19. Calm down. We haven't bottled anything. I'm as far from a 'happy clappy' as you can get, but I do believe we'll bounce back.
  20. Well we as fans have no control over that do we? But what we do have control over is what we as supporters do. We can set the mood and atmosphere. Pack London Road on Tuesday and absolutely rock the place for 90+minutes regardless of how the game is going. Keep the faith. We will do it.
  21. This. Time for our support to step up to its absolute best.
  22. Exactly this. It balances out over the course of a seasoning. & ultimately the table never lies. However, having said that, I thought at times in the first half we were genuinely brilliant Lambert-Sharp-Lallana were seriously different class at times.
  23. I understand the theory and of course its a good aim to have. Just not one that is particularly realistic.
  24. Having a team doing well in the Prem with the starting 11 from the academy is a great ideal, just not sure how realistic it would ever be.
