  1. As some of us have been saying for ages, they've still got a half decent first team squad compared to some towards the bottom of this league. They're still showing that cheating pays.
  2. I've sent them that before lad Just looked under "offers", treble vodka and mixer £2.95. Wish I'd never seen that now
  3. Cheers mate, will give that a go!
  4. Aren't Ghurkhas just glorified mercenaries anyway?
  5. Unlucky it won't affect you as you never go anyway.
  6. Always worth it. They're never too bad, plus its a big old stand, can move around quite a bit.
  7. B*****s if someone is getting priority over me because they spent a load in the club shop.
  8. Exactly. Only hope that many of those extra tickets bought by season ticket holders are for mates that go to aways normally, so that the rush of remaining people isn't now that great as most are sorted already one way or another. Still a joke of a system.
  9. Reeves is back? Hadn't seen that. Bit of a mixed team there, few names I'm not that familiar with.
  10. Yeah, because They've really fulfilled their potential as a club over the last few years..............
  11. That's my take on it. The club is being run well, but that shouldn't stop supporters questioning how the club is run.
  12. For a group of lads on the p**s you still can't beat Newcastle for a big weekend to be fair.
  13. Can't find any highlights on any "normal" channel. Annoying. As for this test - just shows how hard test cricket is to predict, impossible to have called how these innings would go.
  14. No, just the once I'm pretty sure. They were non-league until '78, then lower leagues from then until they shot up the leagues a few years back, so not that surprising really.
  15. Thoughts? Great bowling effort wasted by Monty's catching and poor batting? Anyone know where those without Sky Sports can at least see the highlights?
  16. Plenty of good songs were suggested on here before the away game and were never picked up. We'll just sing the usual with over-excitable, clapping along at 1000 miles an hour to whatever is sung.
  17. My lot doing York. Seems a good 30 mins quicker getting back from Boro than Newcastle. Also know a fair few stopping in Darlo. Plus some in Whitley Bay. Think we'll have plenty spread all over the north-east that weekend.
  18. I know a few staying in Boro, would be a cheap, lively night out to be fair, without the hassle of rushing back anywhere (see post match trains to Newcastle.)
  19. Mind games, but fairly desperate ones. We're in a great position, but there's still plenty of football to be played.
  20. The Fan on the Board thing is obviously seen as a bit of a joke now and isn't really applicable in our situation, but plenty of current, successful examples of fan involvement in club ownership/management.
  21. Highbury was always one of my favourite away days back in the day, even though we often lost by a fair few.
  22. Maybe. Still same chance of a pillar though.
  23. Reading through the various prices at different grounds, you've *almost* got to feel sorry for the supporters of the bigger clubs, they get ripped everywhere they go, week in, week out.
  24. According to that guide (never quite sure how reliable it is) £35 for a lower Cat game at the Emirates. Can just about live with that.
  25. Can't you just list them out for us?
