But why buy for Donny and not the Skates game? Are there that many that want to do the Doncaster game and not the Skates?
-
Yeah block 43 is obviously open tomorrow and will add it's usual over-crowding/queuing problems to the Northam, but how many people do you really think want to do the Donny game, but NOT the Skates? Really?
-
He can become fitter and more agile, but he's not going to become the sort of striker described above. Lambert is obviously in better shape than when he joined us and has developed his game a bit, but fundamentally, he is still the same style of plyer we originally bought.
-
Guess so, but its a bit confusing. We had 29k Saints fans at the West Ham game. The club are now saying we've sold more home tickets than that for tomorrow? But the Skates game isn't sold out yet. I'm probably missing something as usual.
-
I've said all along, they need to be careful about not selling too many for this one. Must mean the skates game is almost sold out.
-
If that's what we're expecting of him, we may as well give up now. Really not that kind of player. He's a goal poacher. Yeah, he can get fitter, but if you want a forward doing as described above, you'll play Lee or even De Ridder.
-
Yes they will. Most people going have got caught up in the hype and rushed to get their tickets already. Sales will slow down a fair bit now. Even if they don't make general sale, expect a fair few spares to be offered for sale on here.

At ALL stages of the season it's about points not performances.

Ha ha 4 hours to Palace, good luck with that. Save you a few quid though, drink a load of cans rather than spend it down the pub.

I can't take anyone's religion seriously if they use "prayer" to cope with not winning some games of football.
-
Our away support has been excellent since relegation from the Prem. Doesn't mean we can't comment on any deviations from that.
-
Leeds, West Ham and various others aren't allowed to have the lower tier.
-
For what its worth we didn't sell out. I understand there are lots of reasons why some games are more popular than others, but we do have some extreme differences in demand at times, bit odd.
-
Merson? The ex-alcoholic, cokehead? Who's played for Arsenal, Walsall, Villa and M'Boro, all really famed for the noise they make. When you've got a big game you make a fair amount of noise, the rest of the time your support is dire, as shown by no end of examples on here. The Skates always try this when desperate "but we're the loudest", always a sign you've really got nothing left.....
-
Ha ha ha. What did the Inter Milan players say? You had a handful of big games on tv when you made a racket and are trying to live off that for years. I know fans from lots of different clubs and most of them associate you with "that annoying c**t with a bell". How come you all managed to put your morals to one side when you were getting to Wembley? Your support is seriously embarrassing, 12k when adult tickets work out at £11, even most of us never thought you were that bad.

He should have a season ticket number to use to call up with, seems for a lot of people as long as you have one season ticket number to use, you can buy as many tickets as you want with it. Hit and miss as always with our ticket office though.
-
Wasn't a dig at anyone buying the tickets, but it is unfair if season ticket holders are buying up 10 each (which I've heard of) for mates to all do a p**s up jolly boys outing to London, when you've got regular away fans that don't have season tickets missing out. Guess our ticket office might have assumed that our allocation was so big anyone that wants a ticket would get one anyway. At this rate, I'm not so sure.
-
I've told Griffo to try for you two. Drop him a line. On a slightly separate note, anyone buying a student ticket, I was told they are collection only, at either St Marys or Selhurst, with production of a valid NUS card required, bit annoying to say the least.
-
Does seem to be season ticket holders can buy as many as they want. Will feel for some of those that go regularly away if they end up missing out on this one. Shouldn't be a problem though fingers crossed.
-
I just bought 5 over the phone. Had season ticket numbers for all of them, but she didn't seem bothered once I'd given mine and name/address etc, went through and got them "added" to the season ticket numbers anyway, for the unlikely even that they could come in use at some point. So thinking about it, it does seem like season ticket holders can buy as many as they want - which is ridiculous.

All this "Saints Fit" stuff is a load of b****ks. He is much more suited to being back-up to Lambert, than partnering him, particularly from the start. I guess we saw how much of an impact having Lambert out was and wanted to ensure sufficient back-up was in place in case he was out injured/suspended again.
-
Makes it hard to take those sort of awards seriously. Great work by the Saints Foundation, deserves some proper plaudits from the media for what they're doing.
-
Its why they don't normally put restricted sale tickets available on-line, as the system is useless and has little control over what people actually buy.
-
Absolutely cracking bloke, comes across really well and genuinely appreciates the support. Excellent signing, although I don't think he's quite as good a player as many others seem to consider him to be and certainly not as good on the ball as some seem to think.

Thought the Old Town and Marina were smart enough, just quiet before the game and completely deserted afterwards, for such a big city it was seriously dead. The few locals we saw walking around looked like they'd been put together back to front, a lot of odd looking people.
