Guess it depends how keen they are to get extra business. Wouldn't ahve thought it'd be too much effort to whack up a post on this forum and the Ugly Inside once a week or so.
-
Wasn't me that diverted the thread was it. As for the rest of your post, same as any thread really.
-
Lowe had plenty of bright, forward-thinking ideas. Weren't always well executed mind you.
-
Anyone on here done a game over in Bilbao? Quite fancy it and fancy getting in before they move to their new ground.
-
The away end takes about 3.5k. We'll have less than a 1,000 there. You'l;l be able to sit/stand where you want.

Agreed he's been quality this season, really stepped up and made the role his own. I wasn't his biggest fan previously, I'll hold my hands up to that one.
-
They must miss out on a fair bit of business, I keep forgetting about them running and for games like Hull they'd be a really good option for some people.
-
Just because something is popular, doesn't mean it's any good.
-
Not really. The vast majority of posters on here are still "annonymous". It got boring after about the 10th "my first game was in the 1964, but now I live miles from Southampton" post. Would be a much better thread if was focused on those with more unique, interesting reasons for supporting Saints (of which I'm not one), rather than 100+ replies mostly saying the same thing.

Where do they advertise and promote what they're doing? Never see owt anywhere?
-
Maybe we've been sent the lower tier allocation, but are still shifting a fair few of the original allocation for the upper.
-
Can you just clarify? What do you mean "all tickets were upper"? All the tickets you bought or all the the tickets that we will have on sale?

Nearest Station is Shoreditch Overground, which is as good as a tube. Quickest way of getting over that way after going to 'Wall.
-
Only 7 I think for this one.
-
Only thing they could possibly get done for is not having a sufficient level of stewarding/policing in the ground. I'd imagine they are cutting those sort of resources as tightly as possible.

Messi is the best player of all time. This Barca side is possibly the best club side of all time. Yet, I find sitting through 90mins of a game like that a chore. Games aren't interesting if they're always that easy.

You do crack me up at times it has to be said.

But Birch's quotes and the wording of the article clearly suggest that the FL had been intending on holding onto these funds for a reason? Maybe to cover football creditors?
-
That's my take on it. Not great wording in that article, but suggests the FL were holding back money which they won't anymore?
-
Yeah one of my pet moans that. You increase the number of people in an area by 20%, but then make no extra provision in terms of facilities for them.
-
I know a few people who sit/stand up there and say its a good crack, just not enough involved to make a load of noise. What a difference the Itchen North of a few years ago would make.
-
For what its worth, wasn't the best of support from Saints last night. The choice of songs and a lot of excessive clapping doesn't help. Was a few songs that got going after they scored, but not much. You still get a good 90% of vocal support coming from the Northam, much better in terms of noise than the rest of the ground. And its still much better for noise than most of the away grounds we visit these days.
-
We're very rarely up to much at these midweek home games. Still much better than most though.
-
Don't stop taking your medication.

I said the only bit of the ground that "really" sings, not "ever" sings, even the Chapel gets involved now and then. Not that it really bothers me that much, but it's one of the obvious reasons why a lot fo people still stick with the Northam despite it's other faults. How old are you? Guessing by your username, early 60s? And you're crying about my posts about singing at football
