  1. If you don't get it now, I'm not going to waste my time explaining something so simple.
  2. You're still wrong. We won't gain an 'advantage' over anyone.
  3. Glad to see it clearly doesn't bother you at all I'd be absolutely gutted if my club's 100+ year history was wiped out for good. Also, let's be honest, what percentage of your support can be considered "sensible" or remotely clued up on this? You've still got people begging Richard Branson and David Cameron for help For what it's worth, I think you'll some how manage to carry on for a fair bit longer, scraping by somehow or other.
  4. Exactly. They can't lay claim to any of their trophies or history from the past, although no doubt they'll try.
  5. Another poster that seems very confused. Can you tell us how it wouldn't be 'fair and square'?
  6. Your point is completely illogical I'm afraid. Can you explain why we wouldn't be going up under our own merit? I think you've got a but confused there.
  7. Most I know aren't that @rsed about the Prem. Wouldn't want to give any of our detractors a laugh by falling away now though. Apart from that, am I the only one that thinks these threads have got a bit carried away?
  8. We definitely won't sell out. No problem buying on the day.
  9. M'Boro won't have much more than 800 there if they're lucky. Crowd of 16k max, very impressive.
  10. I'd agree that Lambert is the one player more than any other we don't want to lose and struggle to replace, however, SDR and Puncheon aren't a patch on Lallana - he would be missed.
  11. Most won't particularly care, but stick it on the message boards of forest, Cov, Bristol City etc.....
  12. They've still got plenty of very good (by Championship standard) players. It won't be an easy game at all.
  13. Sour Mash

    McDonald's

I ate 3 Big Macs one Sunday - great hangover cure
  14. Sour Mash

    McDonald's

Double sausage and egg muffin, hash brown and a drink one of my favourite meals going ha. Usualy consumed on the train up to a northern away game. Can't beat a Big mac either.
  15. Each to their own, you're right should save you a few quid. However, Saturday night hotels aren't cheap anywhere. Have you driven from Southampton to Newcastle before? And back with a rotten hangover? Enjoy
  16. Think a couple of our players did, not all of them though.
  17. I read that as deferring 25%, so still being paid 75%. That's still probably cin the region of £500k-£1m they need to cover each month?
  18. Surely 75% of their wage bill is still more than enough to drag them under? What are their most immediate problems if not player wages?
  19. The thing I don't get is they still have a fairly strong, very well paid first XI at the club. I can't believe they can't find anyone to take the majority off their hands, even if the deal was very unfavourable to the skates - for example Skates still picking up two-thirds of the wages? I can't believe the likes of Leeds, Forest, Brum, Ipswich wouldn't be interested in some kind of deal, but they've acheived pretty much nothing in that regard? Yes, their problems run deeper than that, but for immdeiate cash flow I can't beleive they can't do more than they have.
  20. Good post. Sums up a lot of the sneering "intellectuals" on this forum.
  21. If you do buy a ticket for the Doncaster game, you may as well book some cheap travel and do that, no point wasting it.
  22. There's a deal already posted up on here of return train from London with 2 nights hotel for £99. Won't get a much better deal than that.
  23. Why do no "left-wingers" do it then?
  24. That was my point. wonder if they've thought that through? Probably not.
  25. Having areas completely swamped by cultures completely different to one's own would be considered a negative by most people. Why should people already living in this country have to change to fit in with those recently migrated into their country? Is that what you're suggesting? Ridiculous if it is.
