Think you're being a bit harsh on Davis (couldn't do too much about the pens), but apart from that fairly spot on. Last 30 mins Peterborough looked much the better team. In the last half hour against Man Utd, when we were constantly giving the ball away and giving away sloppy free-kicks I thought it was due to tiredness from playing against much higher-level opposition. Yesterday, the last 30mins was the same. We looked tired. Couldn't keep hold of the ball and kept on giving away cheap free kicks (and pens) in dangerous positions. I believe it to be a petty one for a number of reasons. If it was anything remotely serious he would be banned from St Marys that is a fact. Instead NC is just saying to NI "remember who is boss around here". Its petty and pointless and reflects badly on NC. Don't you get it - the club refused to give a reason for refusing NI a season ticket to the IFO even though they were GUARANTEED it would be kept confidential - are you honestly telling me that does not ring ANY alarm bells for you? I'm sure they have a reason and I pretty sure it's a very petty one (obviously I don't KNOW). I am glad we are in agreement that the club are in the wrong on this, but its a pity that you'd roll over so easily if you'd been badly treated by the club.

What assumptions have I made? If a Saints fan is denied the right to be allowed to buy a season ticket, as an absolute MINIMUM he should be given an explanation as to why. What a seriously weird post. Who exactly is that aimed at? I don't want to know every trivial detail of what happens at the club, I couldn't care less about the majority of stuff. Who is asking for "an old school gentlemen" style of club management? I don't see any examples of that here? I've said before I think NC has done a fair bit good and a fair bit wrong. Where we'll be in 5 to 10 years time, who knows? But if it hadn't escaped your attention we're currently in a play-off spot and not in the Champions League. If we're in the CL Final and people are still moaning or even comfortably in the Prem, then maybe you'll have a point. But even then, if along the way we f**k over life-long fans then no I won't be happy. Football is about more than just how many games you win or how many trophies are in your cabinet. Its why so many long-serving Chelsea fans no longer enjoy going to Stamford Bridge. Or why so many Man Utd fans find FCUM appealing. Well, we're obviously going right off on a tangent here, but I can assure you that's wrong. Seen plenty of cases where the defendent's continued use of their right to silence has been used by the prosecution to infer that what they are now deciding to tell the court, isn't entirely true.

Quite, they don't base guilt, but a clear inference can be made as to why the opportunity wasn't taken to present their side of the story when given the chance.

Oh and sorry to tell you that you're wrong yet again, but I've never spoken to NI in my life despite seeing him at plenty of games over the years. Don't dislike NC, think he's done a lot of good and overall I expect Saints to be a success under his tenure, however I fail to understand why some seem to think he walks on water and can do no wrong?

Do you know what a criminal court's usual reaction is to a defendant continually going "no comment"? Do you know what they usually infer from that?

Well no, I don't think we are going about things professionally at all, that's sort of the point, Cortese keeps looking bad time and time again. But sorry, I forget, we're meant to be eternally grateful that we're in a play-off spot in the 3rd division - that should be the absolute minimum that any club's management can achieve with the resources we have, a League One club getting 20k+ every home game.
