  1. Plymouth is one of the few away grounds I've never made it to. Any recommendations on pubs/areas to drink?
  2. What a bunch of bitter, inarticulate, humourless bores on there, it makes this place look good. Wouldn't expect the request for tickets in their end to be met with open arms, but they seem to be wetting themselves with excitement at being able to tell a saints fan to **** off.
  3. Had my tickets showing in my Saints account for this one from Wednesday of last week, but still no money taken from my bank account and no tickets arrived yet - has this happened to anyone else?
  4. Maybe this is why they are "assuming" it is all ticket? http://www.brentfordfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10421~2338255,00.html
  5. There is a video somewhere (guess should have made it to Youtube by now) of it kicking off in the lower east benches and a few being nicked, then walked around the front of the Milton and footage of Millwall climing the fence of the far east side of the Archers and chucking coins down on those leaving the lower east terrace.
  6. I believe Stoke sold out comfortably, Bolton had something like 5k seats unsold.
  7. Cheers, good shout, would have been a good idea for me to read the full article first.
  8. How does it work if you apply for terracing for example, but terracing sells out to those with more games on average than your application, but there are still tickets for the seats. Would we automatically be given seated tickets or would the ticket office call around to check/change the app or nothing at all?
  9. The biggest one's they do cost a fair bit, you'll be looking at in excess of £500, plus unlikely the safety bods at St Marys would allow anything that big.
  10. Just back now after staying up in Manc on the p**s. First half they caned us. I know there is a lot of discussion on here about formations, tactics and player positions, but to my uneducated eye, Rochdale simply look hungrier, fitter and more determined to steam through us and take those 3 points. We looked tired, which is not surprising considering how hard we had fought at Orient (unlike those who thought that win was "easy", it was a really tight struggle). In my eyes Lallana didn't look fit enough to play. Forte was the only real bright spark. Decent pies in the ground. And our support was really quiet and subdued. It's the same old argument, but why travel all that way and then just sit there half awake.
  11. There is a forum/website that lists them all, obviously I can't find it now that I need it, but have a search on the net and it should turn something up.
  12. Right - Can I just get this clarified - are you saying that those that regularly travel by travel club get given priority for away tickets over those that travel independently? As that's what it sounds like from the way I read it.
  13. How does this work? You're saying you get away tickets automatically?
  14. Got a Link to their forum?
  15. John Smith has smoked far too much crack. What a loon!
  16. All joking aside, I really don't think Cortese gives a f**k about being part of "the Saints family".
  17. Yes you can.
  18. He said we hae a clear business plan, sounds worth a read to me. How else can I see it if I can't get a copy?
  19. Great to hear. Where can I get a copy of this?
  20. Maybe I'm being thick (usually am), but why is it seen as morally wrong to earn money from interest payments? Its just payment for providing a service in effect, same as any other?
  21. Spot on. I don't know anyone that hates or even really dislikes NC, just find any hero worship of him weird to say the least and singing his name properly cringeworthy.
  22. He doesn't come from Italy either.
  23. They seem like a properly weird bunch on there. If I've read it right, one of them thinks that the fact bradord are at home that night will take a couple of thousand off the gate. Does that mean there'll be no home fans there at all? What does Bradford playing at home have to do with them.
  24. If we need the extra money so much, how come we don't have a sponsor this season? The ticket tax just punishes some of our most loyal fans that live dotted around the country and don't have such easy access to go to the ticket office in person. I know quite a few who have had to pay out a fair bit this season because of it. Cortese is here as a businessman, looking to create a long-term return on Liebherr's original investment, I'm sorry if I find it cringeworthy that some fans sing a song about him because we're now in with a shout of promotion out of the third division
  25. Great, comfortable win last night, but some of the most cringeworthy support I have ever experienced following Saints. the "BWP robs from the Skates" song (sung early in the first half, endless "Red and White barmy army", that stupid Cortese song and s**t one about Connolly, plus applauding BWP etc. After excellent support away at Charlton and when 2-0 down on Saturday against MK I thought we were a lot better than that rubbish.
