  1. "Unfair" is perhaps the wrong word. But as a proportion of their average home crowds, they had vastly easier access to tickets and level of support at St mary's then we are allowed at Dean Court. Them getting 3k+ at ours is the equivalent of us getting 15k at theirs.
  2. We could comfortably sell 7/8k for tomorrow. I know loads going down without tickets, either in the hope of having a bit of luck and picking up a spare or just going for a day out on the beer. Bit unfair that pretty much any Bournemouth fan could get a ticket for the games at St Marys, when we get such a relaticely small allocation in comparison to our home crowds as well.
  3. There is no-way that bloke is a Saints fan. What the f**k has become of journalism in this country when sh**e like that gets published, bizarre!
  4. It doesn't look anything like him FFS!
  5. He has got a point though. No-one is expecting or asking us to play anything like Barcelona. I'm not bothered about us playing "good" football, but we do struggle at times and in my eyes we don't look like a league winning or promotion team. Games like this coming Saturday will tell us where we really are and I hope I am proved wrong For the resources we have had available, we should have been doing what Brighton are doing and running away with the league, not thrashing it out with Huddersfield, Bournemouth, Peterborough etc, while crossing our fingers and hoping we'll come good for the end of the season.
  6. That's because they are sh**e, HTH.
  7. On a slightly seperate point, does anyone know what happened to the Celtic fans that took part in their "Poppy Protest" back in November? I remember Celtic saying they would ban those responsible at the time, just wondering?
  8. I find it bizarre that some of you don't realise there is a genuine problem within the Muslim community in this country towards the way of life of this country, two recent examples below. http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/article-23929834-imam-fears-nutters-could-kill-him-for-preaching-evolution.do http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1359160/4-men-slashed-teachers-face-teaching-religions-Muslim-girls.html
  9. Very unlikely mate. You been to east London recently? Not too many people around likely to do that.
  10. It's the principle that is important, not the actual value.
  11. Why not?

    New song?

Exactly. Top song, but will never catch on, we can't sing OWTS all that well. Our fans are incapable of singing football songs "properly".
  13. I honestly feel we are a weaker side than last year. The two signings in the January window aren't as good as Antonio or Waigo. I did Hartlepool away last season and the game this week. We looked far better last year, as a basic comparison. I've just got the feeling we're not quite going to make it. There is basically only one automatic promotion place available and Bournemouth refuse to drop away. With the resources we have available, we should be doing a lot better than we are.
  14. Embarrassing song. Can't believe grown men find stuff like that amusing, we do have some seriously odd supporters.
  15. Just reading the beerinthevening review ha ha, poor old nana, I won't be ordering the minestrone!
  16. Anyone know what the Jacksons Wharf pub is like? Use it last year?

  18. Went to the FC United game at Gigg Lane, was well worth doing, fair few funny moments throughout the game to keep it entertaining. On a seperate note, I think it is an absolute disgrace that our game got called off. The conditions were fine, no different to what the weather is always like at this time fo year and games loads of other games were played locally, as join by the FC United game. Does anyone know what pressures are put on clubs to ensure that they make maximum efforts for games to be played? Surely if a club is having rugby played on its pitch every other week, that is going to be a contributing factor to more games being called off than should be. I've had trains booked up for Hartlepool, Walsall, Rochdale this year and had made it as far as Greenwich for the Charlton game, getting seriously ****ed off with it at the moment!
  19. I guess 30 aint too bad, but there'll be a fair percentage paying £40. How many people will really pay £50 for a League 2 game?
  20. One of the worst songs in football.
  21. True, but hopefully with their game being the late kick off, shouldn't be too bad on the earlier one's we get.
  22. Were you one of the people singing about those in block 43?
  23. I do, all the time. Not the w@nk they were coming out with yesterday and on many other occassions. I'll have a good scan around, but I doubt I'll see any of the mugs at either Rochdale or Hartlepool.
  24. The Northam were more embarrassing than ever yesterday, absolute first class morons at the back of block 42. Singing s**t, unfunny, pointless songs badly the whole game. Don't ever see any of them at away games up north, cretins.
  25. You're embarassed to call yourself English?
