  1. Ticket now gone I'm afraid.
  2. I have a spare adult ticket for the terrace. Mattio I sent you a PM, but no reply. Anyone need a ticket, please PM me on here.
  3. I might have missed if it has been stated elsewhere, but does anyone know how many tickets we have sold so far?
  4. Third trip to Tranmere and every single one has been complete and utter s***e! Dump of a place, no decent pubs around the ground, locals not exactly the most welcoming, yet another very poor performance up there, quiet support from us, disgraceful policing yet again, an all round great day out. I've promised myself I will never go to tranmere again.
  5. You could watch a game of football locally. His question is, I think, why go all the way, make the effort, but then not get involved a bit and get behind the side.
  6. Sound. Any hunchs on Chaplow?
  7. Been to Tranmere twice and had two s***te trips, here's to a third time lucky. Going to be a tough game and we will miss Lallana, just depends how much. If we're as good as we think we are and serious about going up this year, we'll grind out a result. I fancy a 2-1 win, rare scoreline for us these days.
  8. If you've got a customer number you should definitely be able to get a ticket for the United game.
  9. Exactly, still can't decide what to do for this one, f****g annoying. Plus you'd thought the club would go to the trouble of issuing a statement of what is going on with this one.
  10. Won't be wearing colours and like a real ale, so that sounds decent. Any where good that would be showing the evening kick off on sky nearish the station?
  11. Can you recommend any decent pubs in Chester? Got a few hours there after the game?
  12. Ha strange quoting Point being it's bigger than blocks 1, 2 and 3 and probably not too far being as big as those three put together. Blocks 42 and 41 have loads of season ticket holders, so not really surprising there weren't many seats left together which were all snapped up as soon as tickets went on sale this morning. As has been said above, blocks 37-40 should still be good for atmosphere, as will block 4. It won't sell out today and anyone who wants a ticket will get one.
  13. That's not what I said.
  14. well if you think about there are plenty of season ticket holders in block 42 and ita much bigger block than 1/2/3, plus block 41 already has plenty of season ticket holders. Plus he's not saying there aren't plenty of seats left in these blocks, could be loads left in theory, just happens that none are together.
  15. What the f**k are you on about?
  16. On another point about getting to the ground. Anyone know how easy it was to pick up a cab to and from Rock Ferry to the ground? Got a cab from central Liverpool last year, took too long and cost a few quid, so going to train it to Rock Ferry this time, but I doubt I'll be @rsed walking all the way from there to Prenton Park? Any recommendations?
  17. Anyone watching the Spurs v Man U game? You've got to admit that Spurs do sing it better than us.
  18. Personally I think the MOST likely outcome is that our game is made an early kick off on the Saturday. What is also worth considering is if the games is postponed due to international call ups, still a possibility, but can happen at quite late notice I believe. Annoying to say the least.
  19. I completely agree. The tax system in this country punishes you for working hard, taking risks, creating wealth, whereas the messages given out is, take it easy, sit on you're @rse and you'll be subsidised by the people working their balls off!
  20. As Aintforever says, these things happen naturally and very rarely work if orchestrated by the club. The support has naturally allocated itself to various parts of the ground for a reason. Also, it is very unlikely that you will get the club suggesting that in certain areas standing will be tolerated, or particularly encouraging big banners etc, but who knows. Also, you'll have to move people who may have had the same seat in the Chapel for the last 10 years. I don't disagree with the idea in principle, I just can't see it working.
  21. Which clubs have regularly louder home support than us?
  22. Far too slow a side going forward in my opinion.
  23. Thought that when I saw on another thread someone boasting about how good the deal works out when he takes his kid or something. What th f**k, its bad enough having young kids sat next to you in a normal seat, but the last thing I'd want or expect if I'd paid out for corporate.
  24. Err, that's kind of my point.
  25. If Cortese has any common sense, basic understaning of business and football, he will realise what potential we have or not and what our support could be like perfectly well, without this game. Good, "proper" support as you say, isn't judged by one game, but across a season, with the sh1t dull league games against lower opposition being as much a marker of our potential as any cup game against Man Utd.
