Good point well made ! What I meant to perhaps speculate is that the papers that do exist have had coffee accidentally spilt on them and are in no fit state to be presented as evidence!
-
Well the papers don't exist anyway and the second is far from certain given todays media...
-
Admitedly it was'nt Terry or Ferdinand, it was Wilson who had the specific job on the day of course, but he, Hreidersson and Diop who are all Prem defenders certainly knew who Rickie was by the end of the game. Pace is of course not something that Rickie has in abundance but he sure knows where the net is and there are plenty of Prem CF's without much in the way of horsepower who do very well up there - Carew, Crouch etc..
-
I agree that Rickie could play at least at CC level and perhaps even Prem - He did after all give the Skates a real work out in the cup game! But I actually think that he is happy enough, motivated enough and paid enough here and here is where he will stay.
-
I like Pards very much and I really hope he stays into next season regardless of how we finish. But I also like winners too, and NC is certainly one of those and I would trust him to make the right judgement whatever it is.
-
+2 He seems happy here, Newcastle have Carroll, Ameobi and Best ahead of him in the pecking order and as others have mentioned Hull are on the brink anyway..
-
I personally have no problem with this initiative - It is fair to charge for usage and I would dare to suggest that it would add a certain "Green" ethos to many that was'nt there before. Sadly though, I see the "George Orwell Crew" vigorously opposing this!
-
My son and I hope so too !

Hear Hear ! The community charge was a sound idea albeit poorly sold ! While there were many legitimate protestors to the Community Charge at the time, I really do think that much of the mayhem was caused by attention seeking anarchists who managed to jump on this particular bandwagon to further their idiotic ends - And it was manna from heaven to the media who were turning against the Tory party at the time. It would be good if a form of the community charge was to be resurrected to the political agenda again, and this time better communicated. After all - Everybody ( including the Left) likes fairness don't they?
-
We have had our good'uns though.. Nobody has mentioned Egil Ostenstad yet - Brilliant for us!
-
I would say that The FA and the Prem pale into insignificance in the national league table of importance and power beside HMRC, and that HMRC will not give an inch to them unless it is warranted.
-
Good man Barney ! He took a short while to settle but now that he has, he has struck up an excellent partnership with Rickie that has the potential to be our best striking partnership since our days in the Prem.
-
Or even "come back with more transparent bags full of readies" !
-
He was certainly not my idea of a great politician in terms of ideology or achievement, and could never impress the electorate in the new media age by his appearance or demeanor - He was very much a pre-WW2 throwback! However I recognise him as an honest, conviction politician that would have no truck with spin but said it as he believed it - And that deserves respect from whatever political persuasion you might gravitate towards. RIP

Is "Dysfunctional" two syllables ?
-
Defensive stuff similar to the type we have seen from Storrie-teller in the recent past, Ie: using the press to make Pompey look like the victim in all of this. Suggest to me that HMRC have really touched a raw nerve at the edge of a gaping wound!
-
It is so abundantly clear that the cornerstone of Androids plan revolves asking the EPL to bend the rules allowing PFC a chance to remain in the Prem - Whether it be waiving the 9 points penalty and/or a special transfer window for them that involves a loan back option. Other than this fantasy wish list, he does not seem to have any other plan at all! Desperate stuff.
-
Its the "used car salesman speak" that amuses me ! " Buyers will need in excess of £30 million to buy the club" !! With its debts that is double that amount surely!
-
Pards picks his side well, has generally bought well and his erudite and positive communication style seems to work very well with the players, and is appreciated by the fans too. He is doing a great job.
-
I was away on business yesterday and was unable to go, but hearing and reading how we demolished a rival play-off team by what was seemingly a fantastic performance sent me to bed very very happy. Brilliant stuff and all congratualtions are due to Pards and the team! Another 5-0 against Tranny please

Perhaps he is trying to get a vet to come over with a shotgun to put the poor dying animal to sleep, and 3pm is the earliest available appointment !
-
Is'nt it strange that our parliamentarians are not so worried about tax avoidance.... Oh !
-
But did he wave monopoly money in his face though.. No passion with these fishy fans eh ?
-
Very good post and I agree with you!
