The one thing I've never fully understood is why continue to pay players obscene wages? Obviously Nugent and Utaka are two players they can't get rid of but why continue to loan players on ridiculous wages? If Chainrai is funding them through this season why spend so much money doing it? The only plausible reason is to get back to the PL and pocket all the TV money/parachute payments, but why spend so much money doing it?

End of the day this ban will only affect some of the elderly and few others who don't own a computer. Apart from a few hardcore fans of retirement age, is there really anyone who is going to be THAT bothered by it? The ban has been lifted for everyone apart from the Echo (just after Markus' funeral interestingly enough) It looks like there is some spat between Cortese and Murray (or with the Echo as a whole) that has contributed to them not having the ban lifted. Complete non-issue for me personally, and don't think it's that a big deal regardless.
