Take a look on the away forum as Coca Cola Saint was offering a couple of tickets for sale on there earlier. Not many at Brisbane Road last night and despite them winning and having a sniff of the play-offs I can't see them filling the home areas.
-
But they also talk about getting Huddersfield fans to go and boost their numbers. Those northeners don't 'arf get on well don't they and there was me thinking Lancashire and Yorkshire were sworn enemies? Strange.

Not that you can take what some get told by our ticket office these days but I would have expected it to be at least as good as Saturday, thought we would be hitting the mid-20s by now. Just goes to show you need to get fans committed with Season Tickets. You don't think of cold winter nights (I know this isn't one) and potential TV games when you part with your money back in the spring. I bet the NC thought fans would be filling the place at full price by now, he probably also thought we’d be sitting pretty on the top. Hopefully the club will accept they made a mistake last year with the ST fiasco and does everything to get as many people buying for next season - particularly if we fook up this promotion push - we’re going to need ‘em!

Shame we still haven't got to go to Hillsborough, could have taken a lot of fans up there at this stage of the season. Bigger shame is that we've already played at MK Dons, easy journey and we could have had 10k for that one!

TBF it's usually like this with plenty of fans travelling to or through London. It's just that there's more of us so we need to get in the boozers earlier and make them Saints fans only

I found an old pair of DMs in the cupboard recently, dusted them off and they looked almost new. Don't know if I could be bothered with lacing them up these days - just bending down to tie them would be a bleedin' effort!

Rumour has it Saints are in big trouble!

I stand corrected, just checked we did beat them at Ibrox, Quarter Final 2nd leg. I do remember the Dell game very well, 2-0 and 5,000 moody sweaties afterwards. Central station was impressively noisy on the north bound platform that night. -

'kinell the skates can't forgive us for that "dock strike" (oh, hang on, that one was bullsh*te wasn't it ), Brighton can't forgive us for 1978 and now it looks like Palarse have got it in for us, no doubt for 1976. Thank f*ck we never beat Glasgow Rangers in the Texaco Cup in 1974. -
Nice one Mr Liquid. I'll have a look later on. Ta.

I used CCleaner in the past and thought it was good and quick for a cleanup but I think I may have got rid of something I probably needed which seemed to cause problems with my old PC and not being too savvy with these things thought all things registry were best left alone by the likes of me. Going back to my OP, I'm beginning to think this may have been caused by an Auto Windows Update. My nipper said there was an update ready when he went to close down the other day and that looks like it hasn't updated as the icon remains on the 'shut-down' button and despite several attempts to close and reboot it's not changing. I can only guess this is the bad install?
-
Cheers, all. I did Google specifically but it only seemed to throw up incidents of particular programme start-ups that triggered it - I'll tread carefully, bit wary of fiddling with the registry with my limited knowledge, once had CCleaner on an old machine and seemed to cause as many problems as it fixed (in the wrong hands!). Think I'll do a bit more investigating before pressing ahead. Ta.

We've just started to get a 'Windows Installer' box pop-up which says Preparing Install... every time we boot up the machine, open any programme, internet, email, etc. If you just leave it it disappears after a couple of minutes or so, if you cancel it another box justs keeps popping up for a few times. You can then carry on until you open something else and it starts again. I did ininstall the last thing my nipper had downloaded in case it hadn't installed correctly and cleared out the downloads folder in case that was causing any problem but to no avail. Limited 'pooter knowledge - any suggestions? Ta.

Cough, their players obviously.

I'd say we must have the full allocation of around 3,000 as over 2,500 were already sold by Friday lunchtime. With what must have been sold on Saturday and only 150 left first thing this morning it's looking like a sell-out for Saints. I reckon the Valley will be a little noisier than usual tomorrow night as their fans are getting fidgety and they're saying they'll turn on the fans quite quickly if it's not going there way. Add 3k visiting voices and it should be lively.

That's 'One-Finger-Freddie' he's sat next to. Lost the other 3 when Millwall's 'Harry-the-Hatchet' went at him with an axe. He's actually sticking 2 fingers up at the muggy little c*nt taking the photo.
-
My mate picked up our Charlton tickets lunchtime and was told over 2,500 sold. Should be a sell-out. Orient have given us 2,750 tickets. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2318938,00.html
-
That was just the initial allocation, more arriving next week - that's what they told my mate who's just picked up our Charlton tickets, And as about an hour ago we've sold over 2,500 for the Valley, no doubt the remaining will be snapped up over the next few days - bit quicker if we see off the opposition tomorrow. Looks like it'll be the full 3000 for Tuesday - get 'em quick!
-
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2318938,00.html Well looks like they've only given us 2,750, whether we get anymore - it was more last season.
-
It wouldn't surprise me to see you sell all 18k on the back of promotion and a new stadium and nice to see them offering season tickets on a 12 month interest free payment plan. Wonder if anyone at St Marys has thought about doing that?
-
http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2317441,00.html Orient are stalling sending tickets - looks like they could be waiting to see how much interest they'll get from their own fans as the play-offs are still on for them. There's a good chance we could see far less of an allocation than we got last year. 3,500 wouldn't be enough even if we get the full amount so let's hope it's not less.

I'm thinking of sticking me tallywhacker in a Toblerone tube and waving it about. Is this allowed? The traffic is going to be a f'kin nightmare!

I agree with both of you, as I say it's not for me, but we've got a lot of away games crammed into the end of the season and many are going to have to pick their games. Rochdale away, the other end of the country on a Tuesday night may be one some see as missable and could end up looking like a 'small club with sh*t support' anyway. TBH I reckon we'll get 1000-1500 up there anyway.
