Manji, Weston does in fact hear things but is always very discreet about what he does or doesn't post especially if he is asked not to say anything.

She is far far braver than me. A blast from the past this week. This pre-YouTube video is of Catherine Destivelle soloing in Mali. Filmed in 1987, High Magazine commented, "the film Seo of her soloing on a sandstone cliff in the Mali desert is one that has been seen worldwide and the one clear image that has stuck in the minds of the general public in Britain". This was undoubtedly true at the time, and most climbers of a certain generation will have seen this film before, however now that video is ubiquitous across the internet, it is easy to forget such classics as this. http://www.ukclimbing.com/news/item.php?id=49981

This article below says the same happened with the White House and Bush as well. Long read but interesting and scarey at the same time IF true. Having said that I don't recall the author being sued but who knows ? http://www.rense.com/general74/mother.htm . .

Over here our citys rubbish tip allows people to take their own rubbish to the tip if they want to. Of course we have a weekly collection by bin men but can't you all take your rubbish to Southamptons tip ? .

Are imported cars from Japan or Korea, with Japanese parts in new cars, being checked for radiation ? I ask because it is now becoming more evident from lots of different sources that the radiation is much higher and more widespread than first admitted. Perhaps someone would like to stir their M.P. up, make them work for their wages

He won't have to find one, they will take him to one.

Don't know if this is true, anyone tried it ?

Many, many years ago I was on a charter trip to Florida and we all had our passports / Visas checked on arrival in Jacksonville. For the trip home 10 days later no American officials turned up when they were supposed to so we all waited and waited. The pilot got fed up with this and told all passengers to board as we were going regardless. He got clearence from the tower and we took off. I did wonder what would happen the next time I went to the U.S. the next year but as they didn't appear to have computers they didn't notice. Mind you I had renewed my passport by then so no stamps showed saying I had been before and as they didn't ask I never told them. .

Under a new ruling last week, councils have been informed that they must disclose how much money each of their speed cameras is generating. The ruling has been made under Freedom Of Information laws and they only have until July 20th to disclose the numbers! Specifically the councils must disclose: How much money is generated by each speed trap; ...presumably this will also apply to mobile speed trap positions... and... The accident rate at each of the camera sites Once this data comes through we should have a clear picture of which cameras are there for safety (uhem.......), and which ones are there for the money.

A woman who was to be the victim of an armed robbery has turned the tables on her attacker, subjecting him to a three-day sex ordeal that left him with torn genitals. The incident happened in the Russian town of Meshchovsk when Viktor Jasinkski tried to rob 28-year-old hairdresser, Olga Zajac As she gave him the money she used her karate skills to knock him to the ground and tie him up with a hairdryer cord. The woman stripped him and cuffed him to a heater with a pair of fluffy pink handcuffs. She fed him Viagra and raped him several times over the next four days. When she let him go, Viktor went to hospital for treatment for his torn genitals and then reported Olga to the police. When she was arrested, Olga reported him for robbery. "What a bastard. Yes, we had sex a couple of times. But I've bought him new jeans, gave him food and even gave him 1,000 roubles when he left," Olga said. http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/odd/9833210/hairdresser-turned-thief-into-sex-slave/ .

The steepest rollercoaster in the world opens on Saturday but some brave members of the media have already been on a preview ride. The Takabisha is the latest world-record-breaking ride at the Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park in Japan. It takes thrill-seekers on a 1km terror trip through seven major twists and up an agonisingly sharp 43-metre rise before they plummet to the ground. The Guinness Book of World Records has verified that the 121-degree freefall is indeed the steepest of any attraction across the globe. Link to video:- First few seconds of video are very dark. http://nz.totaltravel.yahoo.com/a/-/9834530/the-takabisha-takes-its-first-passengers/ .
