  1. How about this one then:- http://www.ufodigest.com/article/dark-twin-earth-sky-and-planet-x-near-sun
  2. I don't seem to remember much help during the Falklands war? Could be wrong but I understand that in a future Argentine UK war the USA will actually support Argentina as they feel that having a (relatively ) stable friend in South America is more to their overall advantage. As others have said I feel that this special relationship is more important to UK politicans than US ones.Having written that however I am sure the ordinary armed services people from both sides get on very well, from experience they always did, major snag is though they are not the people in control.

  4. Sperm bank refusing redhead donors, In a classic case of supply and demand, the world's largest sperm bank is no longer taking donation from redheads. Cryos in Denmark has reached its capacity of 70 litres of semen and a waiting list of 600 donors - so it can afford to pick and choose. Director Ole Schou told Danish newspaper Ekstrabladet: "There are too many redheads in relation to demand. http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/world/10294250 .
  5. The law of averages says there must be one good Banker in the world and NC is that one. Same as lawyers, we have the only really excellent one in the world.
  6. At least one billion becquerels a day of radiation continue to leak from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant after the March earthquake and tsunami. Experts say that the total amount of radiation leaked will exceed amounts released from Chernobyl, making Fukushima the worst nuclear disaster in history. http://australiancannonball.com/2011/09/18/japans-fukushima-worst-in-history/ Quote:- "But rest assured even with Chernobyl levels in “some” areas of Tokyo the experts employed by the Japanese government tell us on camera we are just paranoid and radiation levels have not changed significantly. I’m not sure which radiation maps they are looking at? I’ve got a few they can look at here: http://australiancannonball.com/radiation-monitoring/ When will they start telling the truth?" 7. Enhanced pat-downs coming to a stadium near you. "The NFL has officially recommended that every fan be subjected to the same invasion of privacy known as the “enhanced pat-down,” better characterized as a grope-down, utilized by the TSA around the nation, both in and outside airports. All that USA Today has to say about the ridiculousness of bringing an enhanced pat-down to a sports stadium and forcing even more Americans to allow their rights to be trampled on is that, “It’s sure to raise the ire of some fans who consider it an invasion of privacy.” For any sane person in the United States that prizes their liberty, this should be considered yet another affront to the American way of life. While I do not support the entire industry of professional sports, as you might have assumed by now, I cannot stand in silence while we are further desensitized to having our privacy stripped and our dignity sullied. Seeing fellow Americans accept these types of procedures, often with a smile as in the case of the woman who allowed her infant’s diaper to be examined by a TSA goon earlier this year, tends to be disturbing." http://www.activistpost.com/2011/09/enhanced-pat-downs-coming-to-stadium.html
  8. Ah well time for some abuse then but I don't care. I have great sympathy for the poor householder who will now be put through the mill for defending himself and then his family who arrived back during this incident. Sorry but I don't feel sad that a scumbag has met his come upance in fact I am quite pleased. I hate scumbags who break into other peoples property and no I don't care how upset their friends and relatives are either. I wonder if they were presented with gifts that the scumbag had obtained illegally they would refuse them. I also wonder if they would be upset if they were the victim of burglary? Anyone found putting tributes to this dead scumbag should be charged with dropping litter. NO I don't read the Daily Mail and I do tend to be more on the left than the right politically speaking but I am sick sorry and tired reading about how hard done by criminals are and how it is that their human effing rights are more than their victims. Rant over.
  9. Do you think that this quoted article goes too far for 12 year old upwards? Family Planning's health promotion director, Frances Bird, said New Zealand had one of the highest teenage pregnancy rates and children as young as 12 were sexually active. http://msn.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10752723&ref=rss There are some classic quotes in the article that I thought I had better not copy and paste in case some feel offended, or at least say they are. I just wish our education had been as good when I was young, we were only told about flowers
  10. There's nothing illegal about a foot fetish but police in Conway, Arkansas, are looking for a toe-sucking man they said has crossed the line into assault. Last Saturday, Ruth Harris, 83, told police she was sitting in a chair in front of her apartment when a man approached and said he liked her feet. According to a police report, the man took off one of her shoes and began sucking on her toe. "The man then asked if he could kiss her and she had told him no and told him he was crazy," the report stated. On Tuesday, police received another call from a woman who said that on Saturday she was shopping when she noticed a man staring at her. The man then told the woman that he had a foot fetish and that "her toes are so long and succulent" and he wanted to suck them. When the woman's cell phone rang, the man retreated. She told police the man had "messed up toes." It is not the first time that Conway has dealt with this sort of complaint. In the 1990s, a man who was known as the "Toe Suck Fairy" kept Arkansans captivated with his foot fondling antics in Conway and Little Rock. That assailant, Michael Robert Wyatt, pretended to be a podiatrist in order to fondle and suck a Conway woman's toes at a clothing store. He received probation, a fine and court-ordered therapy but his probation was revoked after he was arrested in another town on similar charges. http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/odd/10272985/arkansas-town-searching-for-toe-sucking-assailant/

  14. The Government is likely to bring forward an increase in the state pension age to 67, in order to extend the working life of millions of people under 50. This won't affect me though but it will affect lots of you poor souls. Wonder how Dune will defend it? http://news.sky.com/home/business/article/16067083 .

  17. 2 quotes from that link:- I’ve said before that the only way for the club to win back any sort of trust and credibility after what has happened in the past, is for us to keep our word and deliver what we say we’re going to – I'd like to think this is another small step along that road. Similarly the fact that we have now paid in full the three main charities (Tom Prince, Harbour Cancer Trust and Faith & Football) that were owed money by the old company is part of that same process. We said that we wanted to have this done by Christmas and we have now, I hope, put to bed one of the most shameful aspects of the legacy we inherited. Our best wishes go out to each of those charities for the coming year. Also from same article In terms of our transfer activity this month we have to be prudent. I don’t intend to put the club's future at risk by pursuing a spending policy that cannot be supported, that significantly increases the club's indebtedness or risks the intervention of the Football League, who oversee and approve all our player trading in line with the business plan. After everything that the club has been through this would be unthinkable – we must learn to live within our means knowing that, by operating in this way, any success we achieve will be hard-earned but untainted. We also have to be mindful of our responsibilities to pay creditors under the terms of the CVA which is obviously a burden most other clubs do not have to contend with. Appears to be all talk but no action then???
  18. Never heard of "malvinas", are they anywhere near the Falkland Islands ?
  19. Why after downloading expatshield do I get adverts on this forum and why does it go direct to a porn website sometimes? Rather a large concern. Just realised I downloaded something called iLivid or similar as I thought it was associated with the BBC iPlayer. Have now deleted it and don't get the porn site but still get adverts at top of page on here.
  20. Found this quote on :- http://www.saabscene.com/forum/lofiversion/index.php/t31657403.html "If it's a good-un all well and good, but a diesel Saab @6 yrs old may hit your pocket it you're unfortunate enough to encounter the regular problems like EGR valve, inlet manifold, alternator, dpf, dm flywheel etc. then you'd appreciate your warranty. Low miles well cared for cars always get a buyer in the end even if they're priced a bit high. See what you can haggle is my suggestion. Good luck, if you get a good-un they're great cars, honestly!
  21. A prominent Maori academic wants a cap on the number of white people migrating to New Zealand. Auckland University's Margaret Mutu says they pose a threat to race relations. Her comments appear in this morning's Sunday Star Times. She says the number of people coming from South Africa, England and the United States should be restricted, as they bring attitudes destructive to Maori. She says they bring an attitude of white supremacy. The remarks follow a leaked Labour Department report, which found Maori are more likely to be against immigration than any other ethnic group. Ms Mutu said Maori are generally supportive of immigration from Asian countries. http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/top-stories/10182629/academic-wants-cap-on-white-migrants/ Auckland University is rejecting calls for it to sack academic Margaret Mutu over her call for "white" immigration to New Zealand to be limited. The Maori studies department head caused a stir on Sunday when she called for a restriction on the number of white migrants from South Africa, England and the United States as they brought "an attitude of white supremacy" with them. It led outspoken Ngapuhi elder David Rankin to call for Auckland Universityto sack her, but Auckland University vice-chancellor Professor Stuart McCutcheon says an academic's right to free speech is important. "The vice-chancellor understands the concerns raised ... but believes very strongly in the right of academics to comment on issues in which they have expertise, even when those comments may be controversial," a statement from the university says. Prof McCutcheon says the Education Act protects the right of academics to state controversial or unpopular opinions within the law. "That is an important right in a free society," he said. Prof Mutu was responding to a Labour Department report which says Maori are the most likely ethnic group to express anti-immigrant views. Mr Rankin, who labelled Prof Mutu as a "champagne radical", says Auckland University is scared of her but they need to look at her position again. "Margaret is an archetype bigot. She's constantly attacking white New Zealand," he told Newstalk ZB. http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/top-stories/10188722/uni-wont-act-on-white-immigration-call/ Alas if I was to stand up and say things that some other race didn't like I bet I would be arrested and charged as that wouldn't be within the Law. All very sad IMHO.
  22. JAKARTA (Reuters) - Seven dogs starved of food and water for two weeks are suspected of eating their Indonesian owner after he returned to his hometown in Manado from a holiday, local media reported on Tuesday. A neighborhood guard was curious when he saw luggage lined up at the front of Andre Lumboga's house, days after the 50-year old arrived back home. He approached the house, smelled something foul and called the police, according to a report. "His skull was found in the kitchen, and his body was found in the front of his house," Eriyana, a local police chief in Batam, an island off Sumatra, told VIVAnews website. Lumboga arrived home last Wednesday, but his body was just discovered on Monday. "We suspect that the dogs were hungry, so they attacked Andre, because they had not been fed for 14 days," he said. Police also found bones of two other dogs, believed to have also been eaten by the hungry canines. http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/mp/10211557/abandoned-for-two-weeks-starving-dogs-eat-owner/ .
