  1. The estate I live on has very well behaved children who still know the words "Please" and "Thank You" This of course means that we never have any problems and they get lots of sweets from the houses. I suspect the difference between our estate and Southampton is as wide a gap as between you good people and the yobs of Portsmouth.

I'll stick to my prediction that this is a sticking plaster job so that Cortese can tie up all the loos ends before he clears off in January with the club up for sale thereafter. I don't give a monkey's that most of you think I'm a grumpy bastard who is hard to please, this is the worse possible outcome of all the far more exciting options that supposedly were open to us - what happened to the other 49? - in any case I'm not mug enough to keep paying scarce dosh to support this regime any more. I've already posted my request for a refund on my ST for what' s left of this season. I'm out of here and good luck to all of you guys who have been suckered into believing the club bull**** that this was the "best possible appointment". Oh! come on the blokes only been in management for 5 minutes so it is bound to end in tears but then neither Cortese or I will be around to give a ****. Sad day but everything comes to an end... Adieu! Care to re-appraise your reply with hindsight seeing as you still post ?
  3. You did notice that article is from April 2000??
  4. pedg, sorry I forgot the smile thing after no 6. Yes people can exercise in the lighter evening, but will they? I suspect not No 4 I was unaware of that study but I am still a tad skeptical about the numbers of extra jobs quoted. Hope it is correct though.
  5. I have just told my wife what DSM has posted and she was as shocked as me. However as I totally respect DSM, someone who as far as I can tell only posts what he knows is 100 per cent I await further news with interest.
  6. Quote from 1976-Child "I will treat all of them just the same as the fellow who occupies the seat next to me at football." If you shout in their ears and swear and jump up and down you might be arrested by their protection cops. On a serious note I agree 100 percent with regards to the position that 1976 holds about the royals. .
  7. I find numbers 4 & 6 a tad difficult to believe. .
  8. The day after the CEO gets a 71 per cent payrise he is locking out workers. Strange situation in Australia at the moment. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-15504838 http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/top-stories/11052715/entire-qantas-fleet-grounded/ .

  10. I have decided to announce the existence of "RSISA" and I think I have approx 20 thousand members -details of whom I am unable to release because of privacy issues stated within the RSISA regulations. These regulations are of course only known to myself, again just to protect privacy. RSISA stands for Real Saints Independent Supporters Assos. ( bit like when the "Real IRA" was formed against the ordinary IRA.) Should I contact the Echo or wait for them to contact me?
  11. THERE will be no charges following the incident that left Saints defender Dan Seaborne unconscious in a pool of blood. The police and Crown Prosecution Service say they have studied all the evidence and no charges will be brought. Full story is only in today's Daily Echo
  12. Sounds just like some who post on here
  13. http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/world/10875686/sex-toy-drama-for-female-traveller/ Reading this article it made me smile a bit but it also rather reconfirmed to me that people are being falsely accused of attempting to smuggle when they are innocent. The reason I say that is :- "She said the fact that the note was left on the TSA notice led her to believe a TSA officer had written it". "A spokesperson for the TSA said that they are 'one of several entities' that handle checked bags and that at this time there is 'no concrete evidence who wrote the note'." There we go then it is being finally admitted that several, not just the passenger accused of smuggling, different people can open and put stuff in without your knowledge. In this case it was just a piece of paper but it could have been drugs. Oh yes and as a cause for further concern have you seen this as well? http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=3bf_1317945542 Happy travels.
  14. "Apparently those protesting in London right now are a bunch of armatures." I find that quote quite electrifying
  15. Well Mr perfect driver who has never gone one mile over the speed limit I am sorry to tell you that 99.999 percent of normal drivers will have exceeded the limit by a few miles an hour at least once. Some will have been fined for only a minor speed excess by equipment not working as it is supposed to because it is inaccurate, these people should be aware of the fact that they might have had a ticket when they were perhaps not over the limit. No-where is it inferred that I support speeders who are vastly in exccess of the legal limits.
  16. As you get closer to the cold season, you need to know that Gatso's can allegedly give false readings when the temperature is below 0c because the timing circuitry can be slowed down. This means that as you pass the camera, the normal half second pause between the two flashes can be delayed. So it gives the impression that your car or bike has travelled further over the guide lines painted on the road, which are used to calculate the distance you travelled in the half second... ...thus giving a higher speed reading. If you get caught on a Gatso over the winter and you are confident that the temperature was below 0c then you can argue that the electrical components are only calibrated between 0c and 70c, and so can not be proven to work below freezing.
  17. Perhaps it is time for another "Guy Fawkes", but only if "he" is successful this time.
  18. My first wage was brilliant compared with my mates, I was on 5 Pounds 3 shillings and sixpence and took home 4 Pounds 15 shillings and tenpence. I also has 3 shillings a day tax free to buy lunch.
  19. Two small Quotes from a long letter:- "Who is stimulating the economy? Is it me, the guy who has provided 14 people good paying jobs and serves over 2,200,000 people per year with a flourishing business? Or, is it the single mother sitting at home pregnant with her fourth child waiting for her next welfare check? Obviously, government feels the latter is the economic stimulus of this country." "When you have a comatose man on the verge of death, you don't defibrillate and shock his thumb thinking that will bring him back to life, do you? Or, do you defibrillate his heart? Business is at the heart of America and always has been. To restart it, you must stimulate it, not kill it. Suddenly, the power brokers in Washington believe the mud of America are the essential drivers of the American economic engine. Nothing could be further from the truth and this is the type of change you can keep. So where am I going with all this? It's quite simple. If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, my reaction will be swift and simple. I fire you. I fire your co-workers. You can then plead with the government to pay for your mortgage, your SUV payment and for your child's future. Frankly, it isn't my problem any more. Then, I will close this company down, move to another country, and retire." http://www.strangecosmos.com/content/item/179160.html .
  20. I was just a bit sad but not surprised that Saints getting 6 against them wasn't mentioned and that was not too long ago.
  21. A fed-up hotel employee has gleaned great pleasure in handing in his resignation – with the back-up of a 19-piece brass band. Joey De Francesco filmed his moment of glory when he quit the job he'd worked at part-time for three-and-a-half years. 1st minute is a tad slow.
  22. So when will your beloved leader tackle the major problem of Zimbawe? I suspect he will never ever do anything. Unless of course the U.S. tells him to do something. As far as I am concerned I think he only breathes in fresh air because the U.S. said it was for him to do so, if they told him to stop he would.
  23. Sorry YOU and those so called money driven, saving their own easy jobs "scientists" are wrong. Every planet in our solar system is warming up and that is caused by the Sun. A small amount on Earth might be caused by humans but nothing as much as those self interest groups claim. "keep the red flag flying here" so I can't be accused of being another Dune
  24. Met a couple of Plymouth supporters today, they knew a lot about the cheats and even that Redknapp was on trial. However they didn't know about non payment of charities or that pimpey have not handed over any cash with regard to the CVA. THEY DO NOW
