Of course all the other managers want him to stay - easy 6 points to help their own position. I bet some in our league want him to be still there this time next year

When "they" end up in Court I just pray that they don't have that wimp woman recorder who let them off last time. I hope any business that faced her in the last year or so reminded her how lenient she was and how she should treat every company the same.

Pity all the normal old people with major health problems are not sorted out as fast.

Ah but a promise made under duress doesn't count so to prove that - post the same picture again.

mind you if you did I didn't see it Brazilian backlash: protesters demand hair 'down there' 12:30 AEST Wed Dec 21 2011 "From the global Occupy movement to the Arab Spring, people are taking to the streets to make a statement in numbers. But one recent protest is for a movement you probably won't catch on the evening news: the Muff March. Armed with slogans including 'There's nothing finer than my vagina', more than 400 people marched in London recently protesting the 'pornification' of women's genitals. Their argument? That the normalisation of Brazilian waxed lady-parts and the rise in 'designer vaginas' (cosmetic surgery to make a woman's labia look 'neater') is the result of standards set by pornography, and perpetuates self-hate amongst women." Do the Muff Marchers have a point? Is the Brazilian just a fad or is it here to stay? Tell us what you think. Where are the photos then "Dog" ??? Fame boosts the risk of early death for rock stars but the claim that the peril is greatest at the age of 27 is false, an Australian-led study published by the British Medical Journal has found. The theory of the "27 Club" spread earlier this year when Amy Winehouse joined Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain, Brian Jones and other musicians who succumbed to the rock'n'roll lifestyle when they were 27 years of age. Health statisticians led by Adrian Barnett of the Queensland University of Technology in Australia put the "27 Club" hypothesis to the test for the study, published in the journal's Christmas issue on Tuesday. They compiled a data base of 1,046 musicians - solo artists and band members - who had a No. 1 album in the British charts between 1956 and 2007, a net that included balladeers, pop singers, R&B and heavy metal. During the period under study, 71 of the musicians died, equivalent to seven per cent of the sample. But there was no peak in deaths at the age of 27. On the other hand, musicians in their 20s and 30s were two to three times more likely to die prematurely than the general British population. "The 27 Club is unlikely to be a real phenomenon," says the paper. "Fame may increase the risk of death among musicians, but this risk is not limited to age 27." http://news.msn.co.nz/article.aspx?id=8393102

Every time I post stuff in Gen Sports someone posts it in the Lounge a long time after my post. Might as well close Gen Sports then as not many seem to bother reading there?

Journals mull publishing killer flu detail
Saint in Paradise replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
Perhaps because some people like to play at being a God? Real answer is I don't know. -
Good man ( actually I had the advantage as it was posted on a NZ website during your very early hours when you lot are all in bed asleep, unless you are hamster )

Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is found guilty of racially abusing Patrice Evra. He is handed a £40,000 fine and an eight-game ban. .

The journals Science and Nature are mulling whether to publish details of a man-made mutant killer flu virus that has sparked concerns of mass deaths if it is released. The virus in question is an H5N1 avian influenza strain that was genetically altered in a Dutch lab so it can pass easily between ferrets. That means it is likely contagious among humans for the first time, and could trigger a lethal pandemic if it emerged in nature or were set loose by terrorists, experts have said. The H5N1 strain of bird flu is fatal in 60 per cent of human cases but only 350 people have so far died from the disease, largely because it cannot, yet, be transmitted between humans. Further info ref cuts to Air Force have a look at this forum by people actually involved, not hearsay, and yes cuts have been going on for a long time regardless of what Govt. http://www.pprune.org/military-aircrew-57/ Pages and pages of interesting stuff for people interested in military aircraft over the years. .

But even the Tory supporting media have been banging on about the numbers of service people being "let go" Before I get accused of anything I have to say that I think reducing the Air Force was criminal and nearly treason. Yes I honestly believe that.

HMRC and its 'cosy' relationship with big business
Saint in Paradise replied to pap's topic in The Lounge
I wonder if AA's company is regarded as a large accounting firm? quote from op "There are a number of stories doing the rounds today about HMRC 'cosy' relationship with big business and the large accountancy firms that help them to avoid tax." -
Please do try and keep up people, this was posted in Gen Sports nearly 7 hours before Turkish posted. .
-
Ah but will they be allowed to tell him what they really think of him and his cuts? I doubt it very much

Where a female friend of mine parks her car nearly every other person who parks there is a female. Those tickets would not have much effect as some think their parking "like a c**t" is the correct way. They would also probably not understand the wording.
-
Thank you for that, all I can say is "Ouch". Lets hope all the problems have finally been totally solved.
