We're all agreed that in the final moments, one to one with a player or in front of goal, he sometimes lacks that killer finish - getting past his player or hitting it hard and low into the net. He's a jinky nightmare to defend against and I love his personality and ability to drive us up the pitch, but reckon we'll be able to keep hold of him if we don't go up for the above reasons.

Agreed, I thought they'd target and exploit him but he was excellent. His run back to block (what turned out to be offside, but he wasn't to know) that shot in the first half was a superb example of his solid performance today.

We're going against a club whose capacity for spending is could be measured alongside countries GDPs, and a club who are facing hundreds of allegations of financial rule abuse.

Sorry pal, if you're on the inside of him he will go to the byline but not stop, he'll then cutback and either shoot or whip it across the face of goal. There's no simple solution, really - don't diminish our defensive efforts today by saying we played him wrong, we did our best.

You absolutely cannot criticise our defending. Ridiculous to even try. Despite that, City are going to have attempts at goal. Of course they bloody are. Peretz saved us a few times. On balance of play, City winning by one goal about right. We made them fucking sweat though. What a moment from Azaz...

Brilliant at winning the ball back and making forward runs and passes. So important to our attacks in those situations. A momentum changer.
