Oh yeah, I agree, he is the least of our problems and over-worked isnt even in doubt. For me he isnt Niemi class I guess is what I'm saying.

I have to say for me Ramsdale is an odd one. He is a top keeper......sometimes........but he is prone to errors or just plain lapses. Yesterday he kicked the ball out of play near the halfway line when he was under no pressure and the guy behind me said "if McCarthy had done that he would have got the dogs abuse chucked at him" and I agree, he would. Ok, yes he saved us from a 6 or 7 goal defeat as he has done a few times but he does let a lot in that you look at and think "umm shouldn't he have got that?" Ramsdale has now got three relegations on his CV. Ok you can argue the clubs he's played for it would be expected but Arsenal saw something in him, or not mores the case, that made them go out and find a replacement. It will be interesting to see what type of club come in for him over the summer and whether they would want a season long loan before comitting to buying him outright.

That could well be my last match at St Mary’s this season. I really can’t keep putting myself through this shite game after game.
-
I have absolutely no doubt he could be more than useful next season but, as you say, its a big IF......a very big IF !
-
I can honestly say I'd forgotten all about him.
-
The thought of having to watch Smallbone and Stephens as the spine of the team next season makes my decision on whether to buy a season ticket get a whole lot eaiser. To quote Dragons Den - "let me tall you where I am......I'm out"............(after 47 years) 😒
-
I’ll be generous and assume Big Les wasn’t fit enough to play 90 minutes cos I cannot see for the life of me why we start with probably the worst midfield two the premier league has ever seen from any team in Aribo and Smallbone. To play those two against a team that breaks quickly like Bournemouth was beyond belief. Aribo’s a better central defender than central midfield while Smallbone is a big pussy.
-
Bournemouth can’t keep winning, their fans think this is nailed on so 1-0 Saints with Ramsdale having a stormer to keep them out ! Thats in an ideal world. But probably 0-3

ooh I have some insider knowledge here 😁 When they originally submitted the applications for this (they were put on hold when they got relegated then they resubmitted them on going back up), the Planning Officer dealing with the application had to go to Staplewood to take a look around as their layout and facilities were basically a carbon copy of ours.

The iroiny of him sulking about not going to Ipswich is that last season he had a moan cos they boo'ed him......yet lo and behold now its the answer to his prayers !
-
Whilst I agree can I point out that Juric does put Smallbone on at the most ridiculous times, he's not much cop when we are chasing a game and he's equally inept on the rare occasions we are trying to hold onto a game. I'm sure next year, like a lot of them, he will look 10 times better than he does now but I wouldn't be devastated if he did leave.

Sorry? This season has been utter shit, very few players have done anything useful all bloody season let alone anything of note so now some of you want to turn on an 18 year old kid who has actually had some very decent moments and games. All lads his age have good games then bad games ffs. To take a pop at him whilst others like Aribo the darling of the Northam with that infernal Spandau Ballet song get away with having as much mobility as a cargo ship stuck in mud is pathetic.

Bugger, I meant to have a couple of quid on him to score today and forgot about it !!
-
Armstrong is one of the prime examples in highlighting the gulf between Premier League and Championship. In the Championship you would want him in the team all day long.....in the Prem, nowhere near the starting eleven.
-
Maybe the silence from both Saints and WBA tells us that it didnt actually happen?
-
What goal scoring forward is coming to a team nailed on for relegation mid season?
-
Yeah agreed, I was thinking more of when this miserable, sorry season has limped to an end
-
Bednarek, as someone has already said has along with Captain Jack been the two longest serving mainstays in this totally inept defensive structure we have had for the last 6 or 7 years at least. The mentality when we let a goal in, the lack of common sense defending and the inability to even apply damage limitation stands out a mile. I wouldnt be gutted to see Janny B go in all honesty, I think defence needs a complete overhaul, not just patching up
-
Hasn't been anywhere near that uncooked chicken again has he ? 😁
-
Yes, he's not shit, he's a second striker who's strengths are holding the ball up and creating space or chances for the primary striker. Unfortunately once Ings left he was always played as either a lone striker or the main one, both of which he.....well tbh he was shit at those roles !
-
He didn’t care enough to apologise for getting sent off for pulling someone’s hair though did he? As club captain that should have been a given.
-
Just gets better and better doesn’t it? 🤦♂️
-
Thats a given. "Come here with me Jack, I'll make you captain, we can enjoy many more beautiful moments together, you are an exceptional human being" blah blah fkin blah!!
-
He was the name that sprung to my mind along with that other class CB of note Steven Caulker !!
