  1. Well that’s cheered me up
  2. I feel sorry for him. He's come here, presumably been told that he's the player we want to score the goals to get us out the shit, sees the manager who supposedly wanted him basically sack himself the day he made his debut, then, gets fed scraps, hits the woodwork what? twice? Barely sees a cross other than that stuck on his head and is asked to play a style that doesnt suit him in a league he doesnt know ! Hardly set up to succeed was he ?
  3. Thats for sure. Most of his articles on his UI site are nothing more than opinion pieces that tend to go around in a big circle and get nowhere.....either that or he states the bleedin obvious.
  4. Well you won’t give up, I’ll give you that 🤣 Three out of those four are dead certs not to be here come 1 September when the window shuts. I doubt they’ll be here 5 August tbh. But you carry on dreaming 🙂
  5. You’re watching a different KWP to me. He’s more direct and better on the right, his natural side, but I don’t see he slows down our attacks
  6. Yeah if I remember correctly the hotel booking was mysteriously cancelled and the team had to stay in Cardiff. Then the coach was stopped on the way to the ground so Hughes took all the players off it and they walked to the ground. It backfired badly of course cos it wound the players up enough for them to win.
  7. I dont get this love in with Potter. Season before last Brighton fans were deeply unhappy as they couldnt hit a barn door with a banjo, they almost made Adam Armstrong look like a consistent goalscorer. Pretty sure he actually came out and had a go back at them for booing. Potter isn't all moonlight, roses and glorious attacking football.
  8. Yeah, when he produces the goods on a cold and windy Tuesday night in Hull then fair enough.
  9. I’m pleased to see the admission in the Echo interview that “maybe” the balance between youth and experience wasn’t right. Hopeful that indicates some battle hardened players who know the Championship will come in during the summer.
  10. Oh well, that’s it then, hang your heads in shame, Lord Cocksucker thinks only people who can afford to or are physically able to only go to home games are “Nods” What a thoroughly unpleasant character you are.
  11. Yeah I know, and singing songs about Lyanco etc…..bloody hell do you lot not remember the monumental balls up he made at home to Forest in one of the most damaging defeats. Supporting them during the game is one thing but to stay and clap them on their lap of shame, WTF?
  12. Yeah cos players always shake hands with everyone like that when they are just subbed off don’t they? If that today didn’t convince the “he’s staying” posters that he actually isn’t then nothing will I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️
  13. So basically we need to bounce back in the first 2 years from a financial point of view, thats when we should be at our strongest regarding spending power etc. Lets hope Rasmus stays well clear of player purchases then !
  14. My biggest consolation is that Jones must be gutted !!
  15. double post
  16. The Lavia one is fascinating. What will City do? I cant see, if they rate him, them letting Liverpool, United or Arsenal (even Chelsea) snap him up from under their noses. So does the £40 million 2 year clause get thrown out the window ? I mean are their hands tied a bit because of that or do they just pay over the agreed price if/when the others make a firm bid?
  17. this is all there is under FAQ's We’d encourage you to check availability online via your MySaints account, using the seat selection tool. You’ll then be contacted between Saturday 1st July – Monday 3rd July. This is a relocation window specifically for supporters who’ve bought already.
  18. As long as the other wastes of space dont think its for them as well 🤣
  19. Two words - Gordon Strachan What I mean is its not always easy to judge by their current/previous jobs, every job comes with its own set of circumstances. Didnt that Wyn fella who posted say the defence was very inexperienced due to sales and injury, as a for instance? There are many managers who were average or crap at one club but did a great job elsewhere - Brendan Rogers has a very chequered career in that regard - but we dont even know Martin is going to be crap. I'm encouraged by the number of goals they scored to believe its not going to be the turgid side, side, side, ooh we are overthe halfway line, back, back, side, side shite weve seen the past 2 years. Only time will tell.....
  20. I’ve obviously been spoiled by decent employers for the past 40 years !
  21. Ridiculous ? Coming from you that's fkin rich !
  22. Not even close
  23. well if someone was replacing you at work and you hadnt been told despite everyone else knowing wouldnt you be a little bit put out/pissed off ? I mean its just common decency !
  24. I don’t understand why people think he will stay. He owes the club and supporters nothing. He’s of the age now where a move is really his only option. He’s not staying, not a cat in hells chance.
  25. He's had a hand in the appointment according to Jacob Tanswell of The Athletic.
