  1. Prime time BBC 1? No chance, it'll be someone with their tongue so far up Pep's arse you'll have trouble hearing what they say. Murphy or Keown probably
  2. Oh I agree. Playing a weakened team against a West Ham team who weren’t in the greatest of form is a totally different ball game than doing it against City. But Ralph has found his “I’m a clever bastard” handbook again and that’s a worry.
  3. Caballero has done plenty of press this week, was also featured in tweeted training photos by the club. Him starting is a dead cert, the clues are there !
  4. Lampard acting like they’ve won the league. They were bloody awful and with the fixtures they’ve got coming up I wouldn’t be getting too carried away. Away to Burnley early April is massive.
  5. Absolute shit show from the off. I really don’t understand what Ralph was trying to achieve with one up front against second from bottom Watford. What was Smallbone deployed as? And why? Why did it take Ralph until half time to make changes when everyone could see the formation wasn’t working, let’s not hide behind the defensive screw up, it wasn’t working before or after that. KWP yet again superb…..nobody else warrants a mention. As was stated a while back we are a streaky team, we can look great for 8-10 games then look bloody awful for the next 8-10 with not much middle ground between the two
  6. He sure as hell didn’t get any today
  7. I really thought Burnley would dig themselves out of this, they still may well do but it’s going to be reliant on Leeds and Everton continuing to be shite.
  8. I thought KWP was hands down our best player, especially first half, he had their No.17 in his pocket. Secind half we struggled, there seemed to always be one too many passes, nobody really wanted to take responsibility. Their goals were poor ones but they took them, we didn’t so they won, simple as that. I do hate Eddie smug bastard Howe.
  9. There’s a full re-run of the game on Sky at 00.15 I believe
  10. This is only currently in place until 31 May so basically until the end of the season. Given the transfer window is shut until June all the buying/selling players stuff is irrelevant at the moment.
  11. So unless a player is out of contract they are stuck at Chelsea or, in the case of Werner, Chelsea are stuck with them. We might get a second season Broja loan then but Chelsea wouldn’t be able to take a fee for any players they loan out. I can’t see “free loans” for young players would be stopped as nobody benefits financially. I suppose any sale is halted as RA obviously benefits financially from that?
  12. Frank Lampard’s Everton are abysmal. If Burnley could get their fingers out the Scousers could easily go down, they’ve got some tough games coming up. Be bloody hilarious if they went.
  13. Everton and Leeds must be bloody worried…
  14. Had a slight injury midweek, I guess Ralph thought it wasn’t worth risking him when we’ve got Perraud and Tino.
  15. His duty? Bloody idiot.
  16. I suppose the club get fined by the FA for these twats running on the pitch do they ? Failure to control crowd etc etc
  17. An International break follows straight after the Cup Qtr Final, so really there would be no need for Ralph to go second string line up.
  18. Nothing to lose, great home draw as opposed to horrendous away draw. Liverpool away was the one I wanted to avoid more than any other.
  19. Always thought his concentration was suspect, maybe playing in the centre and knowing he needs to be switched on all the time has helped him improve
  20. You wanted to drop him after the Norwich game
  21. Is it true the FA have denied Saints request to wear the yellow and blue kit tomorrow? I’ve seen something on social media but don’t know if it’s true. Surely they wouldn’t refuse it……would they?
  22. Yes
  23. I see Frank Lampard’s Everton are “incandescent” at the standard of refs and the decisions which haven’t gone their way of late. Whilst we all know they were robbed of a blatant penalty on Saturday so were we away to City earlier in the season and so has been pretty much everyone else. Just who the hell do they think they are? Embarrassing.
  24. You really are a sanctimonious bugger aren’t you? It definitely started going wrong at Bournemouth when they/he started spending money. What you conveniently forget, or are ignorant enough not to know, is at Bournemouth Howe ran the show. At Newcastle he’s just the Head Coach. They’ve spent loads on new players, they’ve had an easy run of fixtures and they’ve picked up a bit yes. But it certainly didn’t start when Howe walked through the door, there was no new manager bounce, check the results as proof.
