Redmond has been abysmal. Defence shocking. Very annoying as we had played well.

He's clearly a very good manager. The fact is, when he was sacked, harshly, we were on a good run of form. Whether we'd have progressed as quickly as we did under Poch/Koeman with Adkins we'll never know. They had connections I suppose he didn't have.

Hope all the players have copies of Viafara's message underneath their shirts when we win up there

Having Black Lives Matters emblazoned on shirts was misjudged, and the Premier League would be wise not to align itself with an extremist organisation in the future. I don't see the act of taking the knee as being "owned" by that organisation though.

Exactly this. Minamino did a good job, as always. Redmond I felt was quieter than on Tuesday but got into some good positions.

Don't get the Minamino hatred, he really isn't as bad as people make out. Agree with McCarthy starting. He's the better keeper IMO.

I actually thought Minamino played well. Final pass was off at times but got into some decent positions and linked up well with KWP. And he was always running.

Good game this. Awful start obviously but other than that we've played pretty well. Benteke though is a problem... with Bednarek on a yellow, I'd be tempted to bring on Salisu

I can assure you, Hassenhutl with that same squad gets us 8th minimum. Pellegrino ruined what was a successful squad and the damage is still being felt.

Any early team news? Ings can only get better?

Anything fewer than 6 points from these next two games will be very disappointing. Our home form has been reasonable this year, one positive to take.
