Saints 1-2 Arsenal - Thank F**k it’s All Over Thread

I suspect a fair few of us will be taking advantage of the 25% off drinks pre-match then... -
THB was utterly horrendous on Sunday. Not just defensively, whenever he had the ball, every pass was either backwards, sideways, or he would slow it down instead of getting it up the field further. We looked far better when he went off injured. I wouldn't be too bothered if he left.

Odd thing for a Brighton fan to post...

I genuinely don't care. The only thing irritating thing is having to travel down from London (and back) with Arsenal fans who are as annoying in real life as they are online. -
Knowing how tone deaf this club can be, they probably will.
-
Do we know if he played FM?
-
1 more game to go and half this squad, hopefully more, will become another team's problem. Next Sunday should be a massive celebration of that fact, whatever the result.

Which premier league Soccerball club will you support next season?

Whoever Bournemouth are playing... best team in their history and they're still going to be a bottom half team. Get them back to the lower leagues where they belong -
I'm glad that we have the structure in place. I'm actually quite optimistic.
-
Every time he pops up, it's a reminder of why Rasmus should be as far away as possible from any decision-making.
-
Charly Alcaraz is 100% getting a red card at some point. Put money on it.
-
The unused parachute payments get distributed to Premier League clubs. I'm not joking. It should be to the EFL teams but Man Utd and Liverpool really need that extra couple of million...
-
Mine came on Saturday

I'd say on paper, Blackpool were probably the worst team ability-wise to get promoted, think they finished 6th when they won the play-offs. Holloway though garnered a proper team spirit and they never gave up, something our players have done too often this season. On ability alone, we're not that bad and never were, but attitude-wise we have been shocking this season.
-
Surely we can expect details out next week now we haven't actually lost a game at the weekend.
-
Wasn't Rusk at Forest last season as their set piece coach, and they were the worst in the league statistically? And had the best team in the National league at Stockport and got sacked. And look where they are now, knocking on the door in the Championship. Another 'data-driven' SR appointment? It's got Rasmus's fingerprints all over it.
-
They'll ease off at half time and rest a few for the FA Cup Final.
-
In fairness, we did play pretty well (for us anyway) against the top two, Liverpool and against Arsenal. Went ahead in the three league games we've played.
-
-
If I hadn't have already purchased (non-refundable) train tickets I'd seriously consider not going. The players don't turn up most weeks so why should we?
-
Man City will go easy after 3-0 and take a breather for 80 minutes. Everton we'll lose 2-0 Arsenal will just want the season to end and it'll be a drab 0-0.
-
He's been poor all season. Given away stupid penalties through a lack of discipline in a couple of games and yesterday was one of the worst individual performances I've seen in a long time. He should've been subbed off after their second. If he starts next season then the recruitment team have failed miserably because we need a massive upgrade.
-
We dismantled Cardiff and Swansea this season without breaking sweat. We'll be up there for sure. With the new recruitment team in place, who are experienced at top level clubs in Europe, I'm confident we'll have a far better team than we currently do. I have faith. We just have to look forward to these three games because every game is one less to go before most of these lot fuck off.
-
Yeah that's true. I don't blame him too much but we overpaid for him.
-
What is really worrying is that we need to offload most of these players and them putting in performances like that does nothing to help us. If we get £20M back for Harwood Bellis we should accept immediately. Bednarek has been part of two relegations - he isn't good enough. Stephens - one of the worst performances I've seen in a long, long time. He shouldn't have lasted the half. I could do this with the rest of the squad but I'm too angry to do it.
