Fratton Park has had its capacity increased by a whopping 738 seats! The sleeping giant is roaring back

Brendan would be a brilliant manager for us, of that I have no doubt. Personally I reckon it’d be a bit of a coup if he were to come here at some point.
-
20 is still pretty young. As long as he stays fit and works hard, there's no reason why he can't make it here. Deserves a chance for sure.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42441659 Lawro thinks 1-1. But the worrying line is from Craig David. Has he seen any of our games?
-
If we do sell him, make sure it's AFTER we've done our own business. If other clubs know we've got loads of money to burn they will rip us off. That's assuming we are going to be in the market. We sold Fonte and then dithered around and had to bring in Caceres on a free, so who knows what Les will be up to.

Swansea just aren't a very good side. Which says a lot about us that we couldn't beat them on the opening day...
-
I'm going for VVD personally
-
If the players liked him, then I'm glad he's gone. I've got the feeling that our players are a bit snowflakey and don't like criticism very much.

Avoid defeat and it will ensure we will go two whole months with only one home loss #positivethinking

We will stay up regardless. There are at least three teams (and more) worse than us. Same with Everton, they were never in a million years going down. And Allardyce has admitted himself that he isn't responsible for their upturn in form. They'll do 'OK' but Everton clearly have their sights on much more than 'OK'. Same as us (according to Les Reed anyway...). Your comment about football intelligence, considering how many things you have got wrong recently, is laughable.
-
The last time we managed to beat a top 6 team ;)
-
They've only scored in two away games this season. We've thrashed them on all their previous visits to St Mary's. 0-1 it is then.
-
Blimey he's only 31. Seems like he's been around for ages.
-
Hesketh and Sims certainly are the most promising, hopefully they'll be given a chance in the FA Cup game. Hopefully they remain injury free. But it certainly is concerning. Targett and McQueen not near the first team at all. Stephens on the fringes. Not sure if our lower league status and financial issues for a few years hindered junior recruitment, and that's the reason why the production line has halted. Although it's been eight years since the Liebherr takeover so that doesn't seem like a valid excuse.

Is wearing blackface racist? YES Does that make Griezmann racist? NO He apologised, as he should've done, so that should be the end of the matter.
-
We've already demonstrated a hardline attitude. Despite many people, including yourself, claiming that there was zero chance he'd be a Saints player by September, he's still here...
-
I think this was the season before the one you're referring to, but I remember there was a game against Everton in December where everyone was expecting us to get smashed, we had injuries everywhere, and we somehow won 3-0 December always seems to be bad for us. The club should investigate why really, because it seems to happen every season.
-
Exactly this. That's why appointing Allardyce or Pulis would be a disaster. Short term Everton may do OK but long term they won't progress.
-
Liverpool desperately need a CB. We don't need to sell VVD (for financial reasons or due to the length of his contract). They're not really in a position to negotiate. Pay up or shut up.
-
He's achieved all he can ever achieve there. We can offer more money and a return to the Premier League. He would only come at the end of the season though. He has a reputation for attacking football and that's what we need.
-
That is a West Ham signing all day long.
-
After the last poll, performances had improved. Lose against Huddersfield (a draw wouldn’t be great either) and he simply has to go
-
Do they speak English? If not, the resident xenophobes would go into meltdown. Look how they reacted to Puel's press conferences.
-
I'd be surprised, Les Reed got a promotion last season. Maybe they're offering more money, but he has a level of control here that he wouldn't get anywhere else.
-
Get rid of him. £80M plus though, all up front, and sell him AFTER we've brought players in. Otherwise we'll get mugged off by other teams
