All of their attacking players are vastly superior.
Vardy v Austin (yes I know they are very different types of strikers but comparing them as both main focal points of the teans)
Mahrez v Boufal
Gray v Redmond
More and more people are able to see the real reason for our situation. Hopefully those who refuse to blame the players for anything at all will remove their heads from the sands soon.
Anyone who thinks the squad was good enough last season or even this season is highly deluded. There are severe limitations and Puel is how demonstrating to us all what he now is able to do with proper tools at his disposal. Getting us to 8th place was a minor miracle.
And somehow we’re 13th, which shows just how awful some of the teams are in this league.
We had 14 points after 19 games in 2004-05, so we’re not quite at Wigley/Redknapp levels
You just know what’s going to happen. We’re going to sit on our hands the whole of January and maybe sign someone which will be announced two hours before the deadline.
Better prices in the Championship won’t happen, for away fans anyway. There’s no cap on away ticket prices, some of the prices teams charge away fans are extortionate.
I don’t know why because on recent performances this won’t happen but I just have a funny feeling we will get a result in one of our next two away games. Spurs seem to be in form so perhaps not them but Man Utd aren’t playing well at the moment.
Yoshida is one of the few loyal players we have at this club. He may not be the greatest defender in the world but he’ll always give his all for us. There are others more deserving of harsher criticism, such as Tadic for his shocking play acting.
If Pellegrino has received the full backing of the board, and is in no danger of the sack any time soon, then he should be brave and name either Hesketh or Sims (if they’re fit) in the starting line up. They can’t do any worse.
