Jordan Sibley @jordansibley Lambert returns to the starting line-up for Saints today. Full line-up via @officialsaints shortly. #SaintsFC
-
By the time this saga ends, and considering his age, Kanu won't be around to get his money back

BBC Solent Sport @solentsport #afcb recall Wes Thomas from #pompey early meaning he can't play on Mon v Sheff Utd . Appleton already has three other targets lined up. THREE?? He's tacking the mickey surely... oh no, this is Portsmouth we're talking about
-
They really are a deluded bunch down there, why on earth would Adkins ever go to a small club like them?
-
I don't think Cortese has ripped off any charities or stolen pensioners' money, which on Portsea Island is a bit of an alien concept, hence why you think he's a cretin.
-
Thought I'd bump this thread as there are some interesting views from before the start of the season, and indeed before we even knew of our fate.
-
That's probably your most constructive post in this thread.
-
To be fair, we were. And we scored in that period.
-
Let's not forget we're still out of the relegation zone. Sign some better defenders in January and we'll start picking up points IMO
-
Let's not forget that Jos Hooiveld scored both and indeed are ONLY goals against them last season. He'll be buzzing for this one and I reckon he should start, he always does well against WHU!
-
This must be your shortest post on this thread!
-
If we don't win it this year then Adkins has to go. And Cortese.

Celtic fan on Twitter Mícheál Mac Eoghain @MrMacFunn Why have #Pompey not just sacrificed their old company and set up a new one, debt free? Why have FA club not found this easy way out? Looks like other teams' clubs are beginning to get it, although I'm sure Celtic fans will be well aware of the situation of their Glasgow neighbour and perhaps can see similarities easier. I wonder if their forum has a Rangers Takeover Saga thread?

They're two different people - PompeyScot's real name is Bill. The 'Scot' part of his username is because he is originally from Scotland.

SulaimanAlfahim @TheRealSulaiman I can't understand TB, he wants only the two bidders #PST and Protpin !!! All what he requested been provided but still does not want SAF!! Interesting, suggests that TB hasn't been sidelined by PKF (assuming Mr Whippy is correct) and is very much involved.
-
BBC Solent Sport @solentsport GOAL - #Pompey 1 - 0 Crewe. Wes Thomas arrives at the back stick and gives Pompey an early lead
-
This is all brewing rather nicely. Perhaps we'll see it culminating this week with a takeover Friday? On 9K a day, PKF certainly hope not
-
Neil Allen @pn_neil_allen So 3,700 signed Portpin petition.Critics say doesn't represent views of all. Well nor do elections.Your choice. http://whorunsmyclub.co.uk #Pompey How many of those are nutjobs?

The views of the phew on POL who haven't turned up to support their team  And finally, my POL deluded skate quote of the day

Looks like the WUM just got WUMMED! LOL

Saw some stats posted on twitter about the number of long balls we've made in each game so far this season and it's quite interesting Man City (away) 25 Wigan (home) 44 Man Utd (home) 41 Arsenal (away) 39 Aston Villa (home) 58 Everton (away) 34 Fulham (home) 43 So interestingly, we're playing fewer long balls away from home. Interesting as you'd assume that at home, we'd be a bit more patient in our build up play whereas we'd be quicker to get it up to the front men away. Anyone got any explanation for why we're being slightly more direct at home, and should we play more long balls away from home (considering we've lost every game away)?

Micah Hall @blueballoo2000 If you’ve followed me for Pompey analysis you will be delighted to hear that there is another piece on the way tonight. Here's what the phew have been saying on POL First of all, a sensible post from one particular user whose name I can't mention otherwise he'll have another hissy fit. Another skate Cheats And finally, a sob story from this skate

James Pearce @Pearcesport Some impressive investigative work by Portsmouth fans and more food for thought for the Football League

I think we've got more to worry them than they have to worry us. Hooiveld is in bad form but hopefully the management show him videos of his performances against the Hammers home and away last season if he has to play again. I think we can beat them. 2-1 away win. COYR
