What's that statistic about Saints finishing exactly half way in the table? They won, drew and lost an equal number of games and scored the same number of goals as they conceded.
Robinson would be a great signing. 2 years ago he had the best opta stats in the prem yet was overlooked for the world cup in favour of Green, James and Hart. If Robinson is a no go then I reckon Gordon would be worth a punt.
It works because they are P*rtsmouth and they seem to be able to get away with murder. :-(
Luton town got a 30 point penalty & Chester City got a 25 point deduction for being in exactly the same situation. It's one rule for one and another rule for another. The FA make me sick with their inconsistency.
Saw them at Manchester MEN Arena a couple of weeks ago. As someone who saw the original G-Mex gigs back in 1990 the only thing I can say is that some things are best left alone.
Videos I shot on my phone at last night's Stone Roses gig in Warrington. What a night! Great to have them back and sounding better than they did 20 years ago.
We didn't get battered for the whole game. They had a good go at us early on and probably should have had a penalty but we slowly got ourselves into the game and could've nicked an equaliser late on. At least we didn't conceed 6 like we did against them in the league a week before. Now that was a battering!
Adkins has still got work to do and still has a lot to prove. He's not stupid or greedy like certain managers who've jumped ship only to find themselves completely out of their depth.
