.........EI EI EI O! UP THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE WE GO! WHEN WE GET PROMOTION, THIS IS WHAT WE SING, WE ARE SOUTHAMPTON, WE ARE SOUTHAMPTON. ADKINS IS OUR KING! What a season. It truly has been one of the best in my time supporting Saints. It's been emotional. Ups. Downs. Highs. Lows. But we deserve this. The support has been fantastic, perhaps the best we have had. The coaching staff and players have been amazing, and I really feel like we are a club as one now. Lastly, for all his faults and criticisms aimed at him, Mr. Cortese has delivered exactly what he set out to, and I for one think the appointment of Adkins was a masterstroke. The Markus Liebherr legacy will be turning this fallen club into winners again, and God bless him for it, I'm sure he was watching down yesterday as his club did him proud. I truly started to believe when I was in a Chinese hotel room at 23:00 and Guly hit that winner that seemed like never coming against Bristol Rovers and then the result at the Withdean. Been some great banter on here too, the first season I have properly used the board. Looking forward to more next season and it all must start again, as we push for the promised land. Hope you've all enjoyed it as much as I have, I'm sure you have. Congratulations to us all.
