  1. Toby A being asked about his commitment to Spurs. Sounded very non-committal. Just concentrating on doing it on the pitch.
  2. Have I missed something with talk of a new stadium? Would be insanity unless someone is very keen to p1ss away money.
  3. The 2 games in hand are Arsenal and Utd at home.

    3.00pm kick offs

Agree for a home game for us but actually like being able to watch a game on Monday. Makes me laugh that these threads always crop up as some old boys just reminiscing and haven't picked up what the PL is and has been for years. L1 is good for 3pm kick offs.
  5. I find it sad that people think so little qualifies them to be a 'legend'. FFS he was paid well and no real offers for him and he turned up and played. He left when thought he could get a better deal. True legend.
  6. Oh you hope you are wrong, so you don't really hope we concede loads of goals. Anyone else hope Saints win? Spurs 'going for it' to get one over on Arsenal normally means choking.
  7. Decent money for FF and his wages off the books. And to Everton too. Please make it so Les.
  8. I predict WBA will tank for the rest of the season. Confident of 8th which should be seen as very good in a transitional season.

You want to suggest where we are spending so wildly? You could also give an example of a country with a society you wish to live in that doesn't have high costs of public services?

I expect if the UKIP lot on here had their way anyone with special needs would expect their future to be working for £2/hour for Mike Ashley or Amazon and when finished work they could return to a Capita run workhouse. Just think of the benefit to business. Get back to the good old days when the mill owners had a right to keep their hard earn money.

'Tiny mild dose' - so practically nothing in your eyes. Maybe it is adult social care we should be slashing more, or schools or the police? And Ireland, Greece needed cutting more severely. No comparison with our economy so why would we need the same measures? I will assume you are in the camp that extravagant public spending caused the crash and nothing to do with global banking crisis? Amusing you think I am a pinko - do you know what that term means? I guess not if applying liberally to anyone who actually thinks we all benefit from a fairer society. And I am I lucky enough to be able to comfortably provide for my family without being reliant on public services by and large. Although it is essential theta are there for those that aren't as lucky. That is not meant to sound self-righteous but making point not driven by personal envy.

Make sure you aren't a hypocrite and ever view and enjoy a game on tv.

So you don't really believe there have been cuts? What services do you think need cutting more? Although don't know why I bite as appreciate you see yourself as the forum' Katie Hopkins. You are quite ignorant of what has gone on in the country and probably quite unconnected to anyone in real need. Did you get this opinion from one of your little podcasts?

Politicians not keeping election promises? Whatever next! Also think helped by slow news day.
  15. That's why they have time to plan elaborate goal celebrations then.
  16. Disagree there I'm afraid. More to McQueen's game.
  17. Have you thought of raising a complaint with the illegal streaming ombudsman? Poor service indeed.

Good, bad or indifferent? I don't get what all the fuss is about the NI for self-employed. Why should they not contribute same as employed? Don't understand the papers getting all excitable. Do they think they should be subsidised by others? Surely not. And 'strivers' - FFS many are contractors just trying to make as much as they can and contribute as little as possible.
  19. I don't think the FA favour the big teams but refs mostly do. Not in any deliberate way but will inevitably make more passive decisions. Would love to know what Friend was saying to Zlatan for 30 seconds or so. Subconsciously or not he was probably thinking Mourinho will be off on conspiracy rant if I get this wrong and that's the news for the next few days so easier not to send him off. Not that had to have different thought process for Surman and was right decision when on a yellow but he knows that will never be a talking point in same way. Fergie played that same game and does get them the advantage.

    Redmond

Don't take it so personally - generally players get written off hastily. He may go way of Gaston but also could eclipse Mane. We live in hope. I think he's going to be a great addition. Fans behind me at Sunderland game were slagging him off and then scores the goal no one else on that pitch could score. And for record I always had faith in Redmond too. Never wants to hide.
  21. They have never managed to kill Pirate Bay. Hoping sportsmania will be as canny.

    Redmond

Boufal clearly has unbelievable talent or 'class' if that is what is meant by that term. Only in glimpses so far though. When he came on against Swansea he looked incredible. Far too soon to write off but that won't stop many. Come to think of it who of the flare type players haven't been written off? Mane and Redmond were.
  23. Fonte having v poor game.
  24. That's the spirit Simo. You'll soon be out of the bedwetter camp.
  25. No that would be foolhardy. Point is games don't always go to form. Any idiot can see Spurs are favourites but doesn't mean we don't stand a chance and will get stuffed. Read pessimism on threads for every game. Probably the same tarts who get hysterical about Lawro not having confidence in us.
