    Yoshida

The 'clearly not a PL player' brigade may move on to someone else. No doubt the last player to have a bad game. Oh wait I have just seen the Forster thread.
  8. Did you post similar after the Arsenal game? Aren't you embarrassed making yourself look a tw at? Then again you are probably the sort that were on Pelle's back from the start.

    Mistakes

Everyone being snarky but mistakes cost us and we gave them the win. This is not normal and we are making it easy for the opposition. Utd were there to be demolished, 95% of goals are like Fonte's back pass are they?
  10. Press find it hard to take that Jan transfer window is never as exciting as they need to predict
  11. Jan spending last 5 years. 2014: None. 2013: Holtby £1.5m, Fryers £3m. 2012: None. 2011: Bongani £1.5m, Pienaar £3m. 2010: Kaboul £5m.
  12. Another comparison article http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-united/11278835/Southampton-v-Manchester-United-Bitter-Dutch-feud-between-Louis-van-Gaal-and-Ronald-Koeman-still-going.html

  14. What are they doing about sleeping drunks missing their stations? Happened so many times to me. Some sort of station klaxon should do it or a sprinkler system maybe.
  15. I'm in same boat - can't even fall back on fillers such as Michael Buble cd or Pride and Prejudice dvd these days.
  16. I want to find out whether there will be wine shared or not. Was the tiny room at Liverpool? from Mirror: Koeman added: “One of the *traditions in England is, that when you play at home, you invite the opposition manager for a drink. “I love that kind of thing. It made me smile the first time I was invited into a tiny little room with no space at all. The idea to offer the other manager a glass of wine is wonderful. It is part of English football and I have made it part of my routine.” Yet...(from Guardian) Van Gaal says he will be happy to shake Koeman’s hand – “That will not be a problem” – but doubts if he will join him later for a drink because he will probably not get the opportunity. “I have heard of this English custom but I don’t know where managers find the time,” he said. “On matchdays I am talking to the press before and after the game and in between I am talking to my players. I managed to have a chat with Mark Hughes’s assistants after the last game against Stoke but Mark Hughes himself was speaking to the press and then I had to do the same. On matchdays I rarely get the time to talk to opposing managers.”
  17. PL is better for having arrogant 'characters' such as LVG a though. Don't need to like him but his press conferences are value and the man has presence.
  18. Not a lot between the Basingstoke Gazette and the Mirror mind http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/jay-rodriguez-aiming-january-return-4760058
  19. Funny old season. Just as big teams seemed to be getting it together Chelsea, Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal fck up today. Bookies loving it
  20. Did he ever get booked for us?
  21. Doesn't stop Merson saying Lambert nodded down to Lallana 5 mins after he has come off
  22. Not sure of its validity although amuses me how extravagant public sector spending suits so many to be cause of global crisis. I just assume they are too thick to understand economics rather than deliberately ignoring to champion their ideology.
