some are constantly accusing others of being sensitive little flowers yet know full well when antagonising and seem quite sensitive themselves of late. My ban comment was tongue in cheek btw - posts never upset me and tbh so much ******** (and some sense) talked on here anyway. Lots of sparring but as said before many grudges held as well so seem people weigh in not necessarily objectively but die to crossing swords before.
-
Should be banned for having such a sh1t pun in his name. Didn't know him but on the basis of this thread then fair enough. I know bit Stalinist but this tedious stuff becomes so repetitive and boring. Ban more I say and shoud be a category in the voting. 'Poster who you want banned'

Not your actual opinions regarding league cup, realistic expectations etc which I don't necessarily oppose but the way you want to put down others. Snide and not positive in so much as nearly all your posts I have seen sarcastically mock opposing views And deluded as you think you are being stalked. Let's have a beer sometime

Isn't all about the points though and as depressing as form guide is we arguably could have had much better return? Such things are luck though and NC is sure to see this. Two weeks ago we often dominated probably the best team in the league with some injuries. That is not grounds for pessimism but fixture list has been very skewed this season giving us a bit of a false position. Stupidly I think we'll get a point at Everton.

It isn't as bad as everyone seems to think. One out of 5 best defenders played yesterday. Agree can't for life of me why Jos is getting picked. And Fox is no replacement but we aren't in as deep as people seem to think and don't think MP is too culpable. Not perfect either but that article suggest they might be over doing the sports science a bit too much and 'resting' players.

So? means we lose the next 4. How people forget CIty and Newcastle performances so quickly
-
Fck me turning on him after a defeat. Yes we had a ****e defence but cannot all be levelled at MP. Problems is fans can't handle defeats and think we are world beaters and need a scapegoat. If we dominate Cardiff and get a result will it mean he is a good manager again?
-
No football interviews are continuously interesting. Only so much you can say unless you like the oh so whacky Holloway. Having said that I always find Steve Bruce very honest.
-
He didn't have to play Jos though

Vincent Tan tells Malky Mackay to resign - or he'll be sacked

Still the fans will come in their lovely red replica shirts. We all like the riches and glamour of the PL but seriously worrying how many ****s it is attracting to invest. Always disliked Cardiff though so find it funny and rather they went down than a better run club. Feel more sorry for a Hull though which is similar situation. Still never know their May be another Steve Kean out there. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his own soul? -
Ha just replied to you on another thread but clearly you have an agenda. Comical. Although good skills in interpreting so much from their facial expressions and knowing the cause. Were all the BBC reporters the same? Maybe they went on a training course where they had lavish refreshments that I as a licence payer am not happy about.

Would you prefer they adopted a stance similar to Fox News? The Beeb doesn't always get it right but makes me laugh when people rant about what they air when basically all they mean is why don't they reflect my opinions. Not always easy. Having no common decency is not sow thing I would accuse them of. Panorama is generally poor though and I no longer consider watching but is just one programme and if I want to hear news I can trust will always be the place I go. Interesting comparing Sky news and the BBC Twitter news feeds when there is a breaking tragedy. Sky often have higher numbers of fatalities which are frequently scaled down. BBC are always more accurate as sensationalism is not their main focus. It has many faults but still something we should cherish imo.

perceptive yes that is one of them. The other was plenty of pretentious love to brag about it over the provinces and those sorts are normally very dull as want to associate with something exciting, I didn't read the link in OP either I'm afraid. Apologies if contribution wasn't up to the high standard.

Tbh I haven't read all the posts again but my impression first time was that people were stating obvious about how vibrant London is. Wow how surprisingly. People associating themselves with it as if it reflects on their hectic party lifestyle. Reality most don't want that hectic pace of life. I like London and go regularly but buggered if would want to live there.
-
I wasn't meaning you really Barry. Verbal I think it was. Quoted you though so sure it looked like that. Apologies as see in other posts you are not saying same as others
-
Yeah exactly - why would I want my family to live near a great school, have easy access to the forest, the coast and loads of other beautiful green space when I could be near a great expensive restaurants, the theatre and art galleries that I would rarely attend and can do so easily on a day trip. Oh and afford a house. I must be mad! Actually your question is quite stupid as if ranking locations by achievement. As I said lots of pretentious fckers posting
-
This appears just to be people showing off about how they live in busy old London. Yawn I bet they have amazing travel stories as well. You haven't lived until you have seen this little tea shop in India at sunset

Cardiff City...and we thought Skates FC was a basket case!

'Handbags at half-mast' was what he said. That will confuse any enquiry in trying to understand what he meant. Swinging into each other's knees?
-
I was replying to someone saying that the ratio meant nothing as was over a shorter period which is a flawed logic. The obsession by Sky Sports news with stats gets on my tits but they have space to fill As in my post I put a link that said the reason why AVB was sacked. Regarding your little rant directed at the 'simple-minded' - who are these people? Think you are only one getting worked up about a statistic.
-
I don't think the LC is dying as been same for a number of years now. Interesting Copa del Rey seems to have much more significance in Spain now and good to see. But as many say PL riches drive the obsession with league and not same structure in Spain. Sunderland getting 20k is poor but on tv just before Christmas won't have helped either. AVB took the cups seriously and look where got him.

Anyone taken their kids out of term time since the new law?

Is this a good thing though? One could argue that the country might be harder working (in terms of hours with most of Europe) but are we happier? I have seen many friend and colleagues bury themselves into their work at expense of their home life and relationships. Is all too easy to obsess and get validation from being valued at work.and clearly there is desire to become successful and richer in most of us but seen so many who are clearly not happier and more contented. A tough balance. Often work cultures perpetuate this as well so staff feel weak if they don't put in the hours and becomes a competition to see who can stay the latest. No-one ever said on their deathbed 'I wished I worked harder' (I don't this for a fact but is unlikely). I'm off to enjoy the scent of a flower and look a baby's smiling face. Actually that is not practical as it is 4.20 am and nearly time to get up for work. And must remember to leave early today to see my daughter in her Christmas performance.
