One very important thing is missing from this survey, Value for Money. It's alright saying that one club is a cheap day, but is it a good day? If I was a neutral would I rather go an watch League One Rochdale for example lose more than they win in a smaller stadium with less people or if I wanted some entertainment would I shell out a little bit more to visit a bigger ground with more fans for a more high-profile game ?

I recently appeared on a podcast previewing every division from Premier League to League Two, talking Saints in places but a general review. He's definitely got me on the boss, I think everyone in the club is pulling in the same direction, together as one striving to achieve the same common goal. Team morale and morale amongst fans seems to be at its highest for a looonnnggg time. What about you?

Couldn't you just buy them some cheap/plain white Umbro socks from somewhere like Sports Direct / Sports World. With the home kit I just wear my red and white England socks with some old Black Saints shorts when I play football, saves money.

You honestly think it isn't? We have 3 articles on the Saints Forum, taking up multiple pages. Ammar Jemal (speculation) New Striker (speculation) Looks like Chamberlain's off then (speculation) It's a forum, what will people discuss in the off-season if they can't talk transfer rumours and any other rumours? "What pies should we serve?" "What music should be played?" "What team would you pick?" All based on rumours, hearsay and media tittle-tattle. None of which has any significant proof to it. You see my point, it is all very samey and boring after the first couple of posts. Forums are places for opinions, thoughts and rumours. If you don't like it, bugger off and spend your time mulling over the OS and analysing everything for how "Newsworthy" or how much of a "Debate-a-bility factor" it has. The9, I say, you were right to post it, and it was interesting. Some people need to take their blinkers off. Maybe not necessarily for this occasion, but some people do.

Hi, just watched the Chairman's Message video on SaintsPlayer (the same one shown pre-tournament yesterday), and thought I would relay the main points to those of you without SaintsPlayer: Markus didn't really think buying the club was such a big thing. Markus AND Nicola were shocked by how much the club meant to the fans. We have the finances, but we aren't like those consortiums that promise everything under the sun and fail to deliver and damage the club. Markus loved taking photos of everything. He even took pictures around Staplewood. He took pictures of the club's tractors being left out in the rain because it shortened their life. Markus only ever felt nervous once, walking out at Wembley and seeing almost 50,000 Saints fans. Markus and Nicola spent a long time celebrating after the JPT win. He took loads of pictures of the JPT. He bought Nicola his promotion present just days before dying. Markus has told Nicola the vision, and Nicola sees it as his duty to complete the goals set. The main goal is returning SFC to a stable Premier League Club. Nicola feels the vibe around the club is totally different. He says "same fans, but more positive, the club has belief now." He continues, "This is a new Southampton, things are finally coming together." The club is now being run properly and responsibly. Although promotion was expected it was a great achievement and if Markus could have written the script of promotion, it would have ended like it did. This is the Southampton way. It was a really good watch, and nice to hear from Cortese himself directly through the OS rather than a media outlet firing questions at him. If you don't have SaintsPlayer I really would recommend it for this alone, and for what you get, you can't really grumble. Thoughts on the message?

Hi guys, I am in a football podcast tomorrow. One fan from every division has been chosen to represent their team/division in a podcast where we are debating several things. I have come up with some ideas but wanted to hear your thoughts, as sometimes it jogs the memory and other people pick up on something you may have missed. I have been told we will need to discuss: Your team, how they fared last season and how you think they will fare this season...please be realistic, I won't be tipping Wolves for Europe ;-) Major activities in your league over the summer. Who you expect do well/be in trouble in your league. Players to watch out for, who will the eyes be on? The final feature: Your most memorable season, the season that you were most proud of your club. Feel free to drop any ideas in, would be appreciated.
