I am comfortable with that. I just happened to notice we were home on the 14th, which is officially the day, exactly 100 years later, that the Titanic struck the iceberg, and therefore wondered if anyone knew if the club had something planned. Whilst I would find it a little odd if the club doesnt, I wouldnt be inclined to make a big drama out of it.

Go away. We are talking titties, something which I guess you havent a clue about.

Dauntless and Diamond are already in service (Dauntless is on standby to go out to the Gulf at short notice too), Dragon and Defender are on the first stage of trials, Duncan is still being built. A pity the other planned 6 were cancelled, but on the other hand, watch this space : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UXV_Combatant

She does have rather prominent nipples in that scene. I wonder if everybody in the auditorium will duck ??

Cameron seeks independence referendum clarity for Scotland

Jesus, using a Harry Potter book to justify an argument on the break up of the Union is the thin end of the wedge, mate. -
I just read that James Cameron and 20th Century Fox are re-releasing the film next year in 3D. No doubt to rake another billion in. Greedy bastards.

You really arent funny in the slightest. Nevermind, you carry on laughing at your own "jokes"...........

Fantastic post. And like you, I am struggling to understand anyone's objections..

Indeed, he seems to be suffering from some sort of brain fart at the moment...

Indeed, I spotted this in the last 24hours too.

Yes they are, and they also held a short dignified ceremony on 31st May last year, the 100th anniversary of Titanic's launch, where a distress rocket was fired off in Belfast docks at the time of her launch, and all the ships in the area at the time sounded their horns for exactly 62 seconds, the time it took Titanic to slide down the launchway into the water. I think that sounded tasteful. Dont know why an element of Sotonians always sneer at the idea of such things.

Put it like this, the freeze-frame function is superb. Sadly it confirmed a complete lack of m inge hair or valley shadow at the cut where she was taking the dressing gown off.

I would be quite happy to see NC put a wreath on the Engineer's Memorial if such a service is planned. An offical club presence at St Mary's Church during the planned commemoration service on the 15th would be nice too. Apart from that a minutes silence before the Reading kick-off, definitely (did we really do it for Gary Speed and Gary Ablett, FFS ???) I conceed with a heavy heart that Kate Winslett getting her chebs out in the centre spot for all us pretend artists is probably a non-starter...

Erm, I have a confession to make. I bought a new Blu-Ray home cinema last week, finally set it up yesterday, and tried it out with a DVD last night to assess the quality of the 1080p upscaling. The DVD I put my hand on was...yeah, you guessed it.

Yes, wondering if the club is going to commemorate the biggest peacetime disaster to befall the city in half a millennia has absolutely nothing to do with the club. And the fixtures are set up that we are at home on the exact 100th annniversary of the ship hitting the iceberg, so a commemoration would be timely. Barking...

That run of 15 games at the end of last season. Incredible. Making mugs out of Leeds in the first game back in the Championship, and the tantalising prospect of another good season. Making complete tw*ts out of Birmingham. Superb team efforts against WHU and Boro.

Edson Arantes de whatshisname, or the dodgy defensive midfielder ???
-
No but maybe they wil have relatives who lost loved ones.

Is there some sort of historical bad vibe or bad feeling in Southampton about the recognition of the Titanic disaster that I am unaware of ?
-
Great post, but why dont you want to give your opinion ?
-
Comparing 550 residents of the city to a dog is frankly embarrasing and ridiculous.
-
Maybe the club officials view the club as a key part of City life and will want to do something. Will you resent or complain if they do ?
-
Guaranteed they will commemorate it somehow.

Thats just plain embarrassing.
