  1. But who is he really, in himself?
  2. They’re already ‘locked in’ they have contracts until the summers of ‘29, ‘28, ‘27 and ‘28 respectively.
  3. Perfect set of results last night, it’s firmly in our hands now.
  4. Put a stop to the cat puns, right meow.
  5. The fuel switches have to be pulled outwards and then downwards in order to be cutoff. They’re not something that can be accidentally knocked off in any way and are specifically designed to be fail safe and need a deliberate movement in order to move them. They’re also two independent switches with no mechanical link, so the probability of a technical fault with both of them at exactly the same time, seconds after takeoff is microscopically small. A version of these switches has been in service for decades on all commercial aircraft and I’m not aware of any recorded incident of one engine shut down because of a fuel switch accidentally moved, let alone both simultaneously.
  6. Milkshake - Kelis Spaceman - Babylon Zoo All other songs are superfluous.
  7. You snookered yourself by saying ‘foreign’ instead of ‘overseas’, otherwise you could have had Graeme Le Saux.
  8. It’s in our own hands then. Beat Sussex and the Welsh at home.
  9. True, you can’t say farrier than that.
  10. What's wrong with that? He's the perfect age to play for Finland.
  11. Hopefully he didn't fail, or else they'd bring out a big green tarp and... sorry, wrong thread.
  12. I think wages might be a bit of a problem. He's asking for over forty grand, national press are reporting.
  13. Looks like there's good to firm interest in Edozie.
  14. That’ll be nice for them. For us he played like John Goodman doing high altitude training in the Andes, after a big Christmas dinner.
  15. Ahhhh, we’re back on the negative X axis of the Dunning-Kruger graph.

    Russia

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cy7nvxzrvr0o The poor guy, lost his job in Putin’s government and felt like he just couldn’t go on in life.
  17. I’m not sure that’s the case, I’m fairly sure he’s the one looking at other PL options, rather than Burnley casting off their top scorer from last season. If we could get him it’d be an absolute no brainer but I can’t see it being feasible.
  18. Whilst that's true to an extent, it could also have been said about Sully, SAA, Walcott, Boufal, Djenepo, De Ridder, F. Fernandes and probably quite a few more who've played in forward positions for us in recent years.
  19. Don’t flatter him with allegations of literacy.
  20. You say that like a bunch of decent players are flooding through the exits. Between them they managed six goals in the Championship last time, and they were all from Edozie. Personally I’m more than happy to see more mediocrity leaving, if we get a decent fee. Supposing we got something like £10m, that’d be £38m for the three of them combined this summer. Astonishing business if you ask me.
  21. Replaceable. Wouldn’t lose sleep.
  22. You have to say, that’s a decent game against pretty much the best T20 side in the country right now. We could have won it but their experience and nerve at the death shone through. If anything, I’d say we lost it in the first 6-8 overs, when we were going at a rate of about five. Orr going for a second ball duck didn’t help matters and Vince seemed to take ages to play himself in, about 3 off 16 balls or something at one point. Ultimately, our total felt about 10-15 light and so it proved.
  23. I'm just going to play it safe and wish the guy a happy birthday, as we wouldn't want another Delgado situation on our hands.
  24. I didn't list him as a negative, I said he was unproven. We've got BBD who has scored 36 goals in his last two full seasons in the Championship and Armstrong who has 65 in three. They may have had a couple of inimpressive loans recently but I can't for the life of me understand the desire to get rid of them. Especially if the alternative is keeping Dom Ballard, who has six goals in three season in League 1.
  25. Disagree. Ballard and Downs have proven nothing so far and Stewart's fitness is far from guaranteed. Whilst Archer should be decent, I'm not sure I'd be relying on him to get the lion's share of goals we'll need for promotion. Archer, Stewart, Downs and Armstrong I'd be okay with, Ballard can go and prove himself in League 1 as far as I'm concerned.
