That's not to say they wont. I'd say we have a reasonable chance, assuming he plays well but not exceptionally for us. There's quite a big space for him to slot into between, "better than Redmond/Tella/Walcott" and, "wont get a game ahead of Mane/Salah/AOC." If he fits in there and we offer them a modest profit on the £7.5m they paid for him, who knows.

No, you are correct, however this doesn’t lend any credibility to any god. Gods are just a stop gap for holes in human knowledge. Thousands of years ago we had gods of the sea, gods of thunder, gods of the mountains, gods of the forest, gods of winter because nobody knew why these things were happening.

If evidence emerged that the Big Bang theory was incorrect (and we are pretty certain that all matter originated from a fixed point in the universe) then scientists would change their mind and be very keen to promote their discovery. Religion people don’t do this.

Stretching credibility here but there could be an added bonus of satisfying Jankewitz to an extent. If the likes of JWP and Diallo will be required to cover FB intermittently, he will get more game time. Perhaps the coaches have decided AJ in midfield and JWP at RB is better overall than JWP in midfield and Valery at RB. It wouldn’t be an entirely stupid line of thinking.

Agree. No doubt we wanted to bring in a full back and we’re definitely light there. Clearly the club don’t rate Vokins to the extent that they’d rather stick Diallo, Stephens, JWP or otherwise there if needed, which is a shame.
