  1. Looks like Flybe are going bust tonight and with them goes 95% of flights through Southampton. A real blow for the local area, I’m sure a few of you have relied on them to get around the country.
  2. Looks like this is the final straw for Flybe, they’re going bust tonight.
  3. "List of girls who will..." on Facebook, followed by a list of basically 90% of the most popular girls names in the country. Other people then ‘hilariously’ tag their friends in them.
  4. The ladies of Quebec must be delighted.
  5. You’d hope there would at least be wages available. Yoshida, Cédric, Clasie and Austin all of the wage bill, plus Hoj and Bertrand if they do indeed leave. Can’t see Ings leaving. He’s having a decent season but I can’t see anyone coming in with the huge offer it would take to let him go.
  6. I’m genuinely 90% sure they’re a paintball team. Edit: having checked, it’s actually Edmonton.
  7. This isn't Men in Black, those things still happened.
  8. I’d have thought they might be played behind closed doors, possibly with some sort of TV or streaming option offered. It’s going to be a logistical nightmare to have mass cancellations, not knowing what league everyone is in next season.
  9. Does anyone else remember that rumour at the end of Koeman's tenure that Liverpool were interested in Long for about £25m. If only...
  10. The fact that he is right there between the ball and the 'keeper and moved his foot at the last second can't be anything other than a distraction. Maybe it would have gone in without that, maybe not, we will never know but the fact is he was there and he was offside. If he had got back up immediately after the challenge, he'd have been out of the way but he wasn't. He sat there like a lemon, waiting for a penalty they weren't getting. As for big team bias, it seems most on this thread agree with it and we're all sick of Man Utd getting decisions.
  11. Seems we can't have a nice, friendly chat about rape without people ruining it.
  12. He’s offside. You can’t sit there a yard in front of the ‘keeper and not be a distraction.
  13. If they are I’m sure you will completely forget about it, like you have with Maguire, Mahrez and Kante at Leicester, AWB at Palace, Stones and Barkley at Everton etc. Etc. Because only Saints love selling their best players.
  14. A manager giving a default, generic, not wanting to look complacent media statement. Surely not.
  15. That's a good point actually. If we get minus two points in our next seven games, we could be in trouble.
  16. I suspect Long is being seen as the striker and Smallbone as a CM. We might also make do with Moi as the forth choice wide player. Not exactly inspiring but if that allows us to bring in some decent defenders, it's better than nothing.
  17. Thankfully I've been fortunate enough never to have been through what some of you seem to have suffered. I went through a bad period in my life, years ago now, where I just felt completely empty but it was very much reacting to circumstances and not what I'd call a mental illness. Thankfully it passed after a month or two. My way of dealing with it was finding a new job in a new city, I just needed the idea that I was going to work with new people in new places and that unpredictability and a fresh start kicked me back into life again. I don't really know what to say to help anyone who is suffering. All I know is when people told me to 'stay positive' I wanted to tell them to f**k off, such was their lack of understanding of the situation. Good luck I guess!
  18. Yeah, if we lose the next two, then the two after that, then the next two, then two more, we might find ourselves needing a win in one of our last two games. I won’t sleep tonight.
  19. Because it worked pretty well against Villa. JWP and Smallbone both looked very good in their positions and there was little or no need to change it. We've got little to play for now, I'm happy enough giving Smallbone a run and leaving the Spurs loanee on the bench if that's what Ralph would prefer.
  20. Yep. So was the win at Villa Park. And Norwich, Watford and Brighton.
  21. No, it looks like 38 points, I.e. 1 per game, will finish 15th. If I had to bet, I’d say someone will stay up on 36.
  22. I honestly can’t tell if you’re trolling or just desperately trying to justify this thread with increasingly silly posts.
  23. Long is the reason other players score, despite not actually being involved at all. Also he is a nightmare for defenders to play against and his pressing is the main reason we’ve kept a clean sheet so far.
  24. Oh fiddlesticks.
