  1. Actually, almost all of them aren't. Nobody has said either of the two quotes you refer to either.
  2. Because I don’t have such a raging trouser shaft for Alex Scott that I ignore her failings as a pundit? She’s not all that.
  3. Can’t stand Alex Scott, just a female Phil Neville, sat there cheerfully stating the flippin’ obvious with an inane smile on her face. There are some good female pundits in various sports. Gabby Logan, Natalie Pinkham, Clare Balding and some of the SSN presenters are decent. I do hate when they get a Man City or England women’s player on for a men’s Manchester Derby or England WC game and say, "so, tell us what the pressure is like, playing a game at this level."
  4. ROI would get relegated if they were a Premier League team, it’s no real boast running the show against them. Armstrong seems to be his long term replacement and even he doesn’t get into the team, most of the time.
  5. A few lower emission cars and blocking an extra runway is of little consequence until countries like India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh and Indonesia get their population under control. When you think about the amount of crap an extra billion people on the Indian sub-continent are going to dump into the ocean (and the number of species they are going to kill off through pollution and over-fishing) it's quite saddening.
  6. The only thing wrong with the Caceres deal was the Fonte clusterf**k that preceded it. He was experienced back up, whilst we gave Stephens game time under relatively little pressure. Nothing wrong with that.
  7. No, it's just what happens at Saints. Leicester didn't have to sell Mahrez. Everton didn't have to sell Lukaku Liverpool didn't have to sell Coutinho Palace didn't have to sell Zaha West Ham didn't have to sell Payet Stoke didn't have to sell Arnautovic Tottenham didn't have to sell Modric Arsenal didn't have to sell Van Persie Chelsea didn't have to sell Courtois Watford didn't have to sell Richarlison. Bournemouth didn't have to sell Richie Newcastle didn't have to sell Sissoko Man Utd didn't have to sell Ronaldo Yep. Just Saints.
  8. Getting better? Their only win came in August and they’ve lost their last 6. They may play it around a bit but their defence is like a rusty colander.
  9. I don't support this proposal but killing him is a bit harsh.
  10. It's not exactly a hard sell, when half of Asia is mad for one of the big six. Plus most of the money just ends up being chucked around agents, transfer fees and wages. For all the money we get paid, we still apparently need to sell to buy players.
  11. So he can not get into our squad either?
  12. *Michael’s views are his own and not necessarily those of the SaintsWeb Ltd empire.
  13. If he's been even half sensible with his money, he'll have enough to buy a 12 acre estate in Surrey, a chalet in Verbier and a Villa in the Maldives, with enough change left over to fly his family between them (first class) for the next 50 years. Why a man who has been CEO of the Premier League for 20 years needs a 'retirement gift' I have no idea. All that being said, I'm not in the slightest bit surprised.

  15. I'd stick Moi in for Ings and push Gabbi up front. Other than that, just Targett to come in at LB.
  16. I'm not sure what he's supposed to have gotten away with TBH. I didn't see him say anything offensive about the actual officials, just that it was a joke that we don't have VAR and they clearly need help. This is different to Mourinho coming out after every defeat saying, "the referee wanted me to lose because it makes good television," or some other b****cks.
  17. You'd prefer he hadn't tried his hardest to keep them? If they were all falling out with Les, then leaving because of that, I'd get your point. In reality most of the dirty laundry came from players and their agents trying to force through moves to bigger clubs and Les upset many of them by fighting Saints corner.
  18. Just noticed Sims didn't make Reading's matchday squad for the second game in a row. So much for getting him some decent game time.
  19. Which took a massive slice of luck in the deflection, to wrong foot Foster.
  20. Says the man who posted 58 times on a Saturday.
  21. That's not the rule, it has to be a deliberate attempt to play the ball by the defender.
  22. Why the frig are we after a 0-0 at Leicester on MOTD?
  23. Our saving grace may well be that there are 7 absolutely garbage teams in it this season, instead of just 4. There's one heck of a slag at the bottom of the Premier League at the moment. The current point scoring rate will have someone finishing 14th on about 28 points.
  24. Chatting to a Watford fan on the way back into town, he seemed to think Lemina ran the show for us. I'd have to agree. I also thought Hoj had a better game than some on here are giving him credit for. Gave the ball away a bit but got stuck in and covered a lot of ground. I think the team that started has potential, it's the subs that did it for us. Should have been O'Bafemi for Ings and Romeu for Armstrong. Rom should have been on the bench instead of JWP, who seems to just come on and lose games for us.
