Look on the bright side, that team we put out will have p*ssed the Scousers right off.
-
Burnley and Fulham are below us for a reason, I’m not sure your logic follows. They will both significantly improve, for some reason whereas we, having appointed a much better manager, won’t improve at all.

Yes, I also tend to agree with my own posts.

Looks like he’s won a competition to be a footballer for a day. I can’t think of one redeeming attribute.
-
Great, no Hoj for 4 games. Just gets better.
-
Which muppet thought Elyounoussi would make a Premier League player. From day 1 I’ve not seen one decent attribute or performance.
-
That was stone wall.
-
I’m sure that would be given at Anfield or OT but it wasn’t a pen. The faintest of contact and he went down like a sack of spuds.
-
That team will get bummed.

I’ve seen Anthony Pulis play in a pre-season friendly. End of argument.

Saints 1 West Ham 2 - Post Match Reality Check
Lighthouse replied to St Chalet's topic in The Saints
Targett and Valery are not okay. Tonight were two of the most un-okay performances of the season. -
Saints aren’t special either. Nobody in the Premier League is. We’re all just global brands now. Liverpool have a large fan base, which is based on their success in the 80s, which their shareholders are keen to exploit. However their ‘greatness’ as a club doesn’t push them any higher up the League than Forrest, Villa, Leeds and a bunch of other clubs with rich histories. They are where they are because they have rich owners. Their support hasn’t ‘earned’ anything, only in the minds of Liverpool fans.
-
Like heck are they a ‘proper’ club. They’re a corporate cash machine just like the rest of them. Foreign owners, foreign players, foreign fans, foreign merchandise deals, sponsored by a multi-national bank, worldwide multi-billion dollar TV deals. If anything, their ridiculous sent of entitlement and the fans belief that they are something special makes me dislike them more than the rest of the top 6.

That has to be a wind up surely. Liverpool will have a sticky patch at some point this season, just like everyone else.
-
I know we’re a long way from safe yet but I’m definitely looking more at the Bournemouth, Wolves, Brighton area of the table this week. This team should be nowhere near relegation by the end of the season.
-
I’d actually quite like to see Leeds back up. Big club and a decent day out.
-
Most of our rivals losing by at least 3 goals. A draw in Palace - Cardiff would be brilliant.
-
Howe’s Spurs audition not going too well.
-
I believe the club will be holding a minutes silence for the victims of the Nakatomi Plaza attack, which was 30 years ago tonight.
-
Well this is festive.
-
Since promotion it’s got to be Everton away and Spurs at home. Lost our last 4 league games against Bristol City too.
-
Watching MOTD, if we conspire to get relegated from a league containing Cardiff, Fulham and Huddersfield, every single player should be lined up in front of a wall and shot. Utd are just strolling through Cardiff.

He was 21 by the time Koeman left and still not getting into the team. Hardly old but after 4 years of Premier League football he was still a ‘last 15 minutes’ sub.
-
I think he just got found out not having Wanyama, Virgil and Fonte in front of him.
-
He plays for himself, likes doing a few fancy tricks and dribbles and misses chances to advance our attack. He has been given many chances and failed to impress under 3 different managers. The bad attitude thing comes from a few things, mainly the way he plays but there were a couple of other incidents. Storming off when getting subbed off in a reserve game and all the sh*t he gave MoPe after his WBA goal. He had done f**k all for nearly a year before that and was shouting in MoPe’s face as if not starting him was a huge miscarriage of justice. He then got about 5 starts in a row and did absolutely nothing. It seems he regularly gets subbed off for Celta too, so can’t be doing anything special there.
