Woah, easy tiger. Ings and Adams may be out of form but if that’s the answer I don’t want to live on this planet.
-
Very unlucky not to get two at Bramall and whatever you think about him tonight, the only time we looked close to beating the ‘keeper was from a penalty he won. I have faith. J Rod’s first goal was a long time coming IIRC and he had a similar record and attributes at Championship level.
-
Tested? Their ‘keeper made three routine saves. The first was miss hit, the second straight down the middle from 25 yards and the third right at the ‘keeper’s feet. We’d have been fuming if Gunn had let one of those in.
-
Right then Ralph... think very carefully about the team you want to start this one.
-
I can’t remember anyone actually saying Boufal is lazy, it seems to be the biggest straw man on this board. The criticism I have is that he plays with his head down and his awareness is badly lacking, tonight was very much in that mould. Three shots, all straight at the ‘keeper, and numerous opportunities to pass missed when he tried to take on two players instead. He wasn’t terrible and he did play a few decent passes but they were hardly defence splitting.
-
Remember when we had Clyne, Fonte, Toby and Bertrand starting every week? That got Forster into the England team. I’d rather see Gunn behind our strongest defence for ten games, rather than judge him on the team we seem to pick with a pre-match raffle.
-
Villa, Sheff Utd, Wolves, Palace and Watford all look worse than us right now. I agree with your second sentence but we aren’t one of the worst three teams in the league. In short, we aren’t as bad as we were tonight and we aren’t as good as the team which has won three consecutive away games.
-
WTF was that first half team Ralph?! Is the back four just a pre-match sweepstake these days?
-
89:50 into a 2-1 defeat, let’s casually play it around the back five.
-
I really haven’t seen anything to rave about from him either. He’s made poor decisions more often than not, running into trouble or trying to pass through two defenders.
-
That’s not a pen. Just stuck his left foot in front of Cedric’s right.
-
Come on, make this count!
-
I genuinely feel sorry for Danso. I thought he was supposed to come in and be a decent CB and here he is playing a different position every half an hour. No wonder he looks lost. Valery - Yoshida - Danso - Bertrand Give that defence five uninterrupted games in a row, then see if we’re any better.
-
Bertrand for Vest please Ralph. This is one of those ‘so crazy it just might work’ defences which George Burley used to use to engineer 3-0 defeats.
-
Great lofty ball in towards Cook from Cedric, that’ll work.
-
Appalling.
-
All started from Cedric having the ball in acres on the left and looking to play it back across our back line instead of getting forward and crossing. Bizarre line up from Ralph.

Here please. Let’s get the defibrillator on our home form and we can really start our season going. COYS!

I struggle to believe the price of either the coach or Sky, or that we’d feel the need to pay for either of them, given our current period of austerity. Given that we seem to fly anywhere north of Brum, I can’t say that we really get all that much use out of our coach anyway.

Like Baker, I don’t believe Trudeau to be racist, just naive. Having said that I do believe he is a monumental prat and have done since that trip to India.

About three years ago I bought a TV and a Scalextric set online, after getting smashed in an après ski bar. I was actually quite pleased when they turned up.
-
The other four are playing in the £500k pro-am.

TBF your post was more reasonable and coherent than Lord D’s. -
This is all going off at rather a tedious tangent. Since this thread has been going for nearly 2 years I will assume that anyone genuinely interested in this VLog already has it subscribed and bookmarked, so it’s basically run it’s course.
