  1. Joan Rivers and Linda Smith spring to mind.
  2. Why are you comparing us to Leicester? Yeah if you want to be 5 points clear at the top of the league you have to do better but we're competitive enough away from home. If we set up to score a load more goals we wouldn't have the 3rd best defence.
  3. So do Man Utd, they got 6 last year too and qualified for the CL. City only have 7. Last season we got 23 points away from home and got into Europe. Right now we have 21 and will eclipse last year with a win at Villa. 3rd best away defence too.
  4. It's not been great but 5 or 6 wins is reasonable enough. I think we've been weak at home against the better teams personally. Take Saints out of the table and we've lost at home to 5 of the top 10 and only won twice. We've still got City to come but if we lost that then its W2 D2 L6. Need to be better at home when the big teams come to St Mary's.
  5. Er... We did. Man Utd, Chelsea, Stoke, Sunderland and Swansea. If we beat Villa that's 6 away wins in a season, which isn't too shabby.
  6. This is like watching our cup game. 13 minutes to get 2 more.
  7. Everton are just hopeless at the back.
  8. Everton look sh*te TBH.
  9. Was never really my cup of tea but 'Let's do it' had me in stitches the first time I heard it.
  10. Have a funny feeling it would be 5-2 but that's not based on anything concrete. If what you're saying is true though, it leaves us needing a Liverpool EL win and that makes me feel dirty.
  11. The Huth foul was more of a penalty. Anyway, 2-2. What drama.
  12. Good refereeing, he was looking for that.
  13. I'd say having to rename the club, 'Total Network Solutions', is arguably the worst embarrassing sponsorship deal in recent times.
  14. Hooters
  15. If Tadic could finish consistently, he'd be at a Champions League club. He can't, so he isn't but his scoring record here stacks up pretty favourably compared to the most of the midfielders we've had in recent times.
  16. As it happens, today is 11 years since that 2-3 game at St Mary's. Steven Davis scored the winner.
  17. If we're to have any realistic shot at Europe, I think we're now in to 'must win' territory. Realistically though, Liverpool have Bompey, Everton, Newcastle, Swansea, Watford, West Brom and Chelsea in their run in. Meanwhile we have Spurs and City after this. It's looking improbable. I'd be tempted to start J Rod up front, give him a bit more match practice.
  18. I wouldn't bother, he has very few opinions on actual football. He just comes on here to point out that other posters are wrong.
  19. Frustrating really. Not much more to add.
  20. I approve of this goal.
  21. Interestingly none of the Sky pundits on Super6 have gone for an Everton win. Jeff, Charlie and Dale all went for 1-2 with the rest going for a draw (Matt went with 1-1, as did I).
