  1. Who?
  2. I was under the impression he was injured. I can't see Lovren being dropped completely, he isn't that bad.
  3. I'd love to sign him as I've seen him rip defences to pieces but we've already got Mane, Elia, Long, J Rod and Tadic who can play wide on the front four. We wont me making any moves for midfielders this window IMO. He will probably go to Spurs and score the winner against us in the 88th minute.
  4. How could you tell from all the way up in the stands?
  5. I see Glen Johnson has nicked the seat.
  6. In what capacity? I haven't seen that video yet. Rule 1.
  7. If only there were some pictures of what an expanded stadium might look like.
  8. Still not good enough. He can get the best out of players but isn't a magician.
  9. He did. Just behind Marian Pahars
  10. I did the cheapy one in the bath tub for €40 about 3 years ago. It was pretty good although from what the chalet staff told me the Olympic one is next level intense. Basically don't put your head down as you wont be able to lift it up again until the end of the run, due to the high g-forces involved. I wouldn't worry about it from a safety point of view. To an ex-Olympic driver it will be a walk in the park and he wont get close to Olympic levels of performance. Kind of like if you did a super car driving experience with Damon Hill. Incidentally where about in La Plagne are you staying? I was there two weeks ago.
  11. Warning: This will make all your Gopro ski videos instantly look sh*t.
  12. Got my ticket. Looking forward to this but I'd still not risk a couple of our more important players, namely Fonte, Forster and Pelle. I think if any of those get injured it would simply jeopardise the rest of out season. I'd go with Davis Clyne - McCarthy - Gardos - Targett Reed - Cork Elia - JWP - Tadic Long
  13. What worries me is that this is Saints playing excellently whereas other teams are under-performing and still keeping up with us. Spurs and United especially seem to have a knack of winning in-spite of some poor performances. Anyone betting on 2-1 Spurs with a deflected Eriksen goal, off the post in the last minute is probably a billionaire by now. Arsenal put in the kind of performance at City yesterday I don't think we're quite capable of at the moment. It's games like that which lead me to fear we aren't quite there yet, despite being a very good team.
  14. Villa have scored as many league goals in 5 months as we did in one game against Sunderland. Ouch.
  15. Somewhere on here is a thread with a poll, where on average we decided we'd rather have Wotton in the team. Shows how far Morgan has come, he was poor in his first season and inconsistent in his second.
  16. Two players who you kind of put in a seperate era in your mind. Gareth Bale's professional debut was spent playing just behind Marian Pahars. That's another one which sounds kind of weird when I think of it. That was actually Marian's last game for us, a 2-0 win over Millwall.
  17. Lambert. He was the first signing since Saganowski where I actually thought 'we've gone and bought someone properly decent.' Actually it's weird now thinking that they played in the same team briefly. Lambert, Fonte, Puncheon, Cork, Barnard and Sharp all stick in my mind as thinking 'we've done this properly, they are proven to be the best on the market'. There have been other decent signings but those were the players I knew would do a decent job the moment we signed them, admittedly Puncheon had his ups and downs.
  18. The only debate really is in the attacking 3 in midfield. For me it's Tadic, JWP and J Rod. Elia and Mane have yet to prove themselves consistently and JWP edges Davis for his set pieces delivery. Still, Elia, Mane and Davis would rip holes in most Premier League teams so it's a great dilemma to have.
  19. Where did I get those mushrooms?
  20. We still haven't according to pap.
  21. You would have to be mental to want Arsenal to win, or even a draw. I still think both will finish above us, Arsenal narrowly, but if we finish above City I will walk across the pitch at Fratton wearing a Saints shirt with my knob hanging out.
  22. That's not Gardos' fault IMO, he had to play that and it was a freak deflection. Forster came out too late, he should have either started further forward or stayed on his line, he ended up in no man's land.
  23. That Spurs lino needs to read the rule book. Even I know you can't be offside in your own half.
  24. http://www.flightradar24.com/9HAHA/54c8ac9 I think this is our lads on the way home.
