  1. John was a separate deal to Kenwyne. We also signed Saganowski, Euell, Safri and Hammil that summer.

When Russia are already throwing everything they've got a killing as many civilians as possible, that's not really much of a threat. Their so called 'reply' will just be the horrible sh*t they do anyway.

There’re a lot of videos of burning TU95s on Twitter. Such a shame.
  4. More specifically the absolutely batsh*t summer of 2007, which has got to be up there with last summer as one of the most mind-boggling in our history. We lost the parachute payments, money was tight and we had no defence... so lets by a bunch more really expensive midfielders/strikers.
  5. I'm fairly sure Bale's debut was also Pahars' last ever game for us. Might have been Cardiff at SMS but it was definitely under GB.
  6. I was apprehensive about this year's Blast but Christ alive, I don't think I've ever seen us wallop someone by 106 runs before. Fantastic seeing Vince back again and Brevis looks a heck of a signing. It's just a shame we don't have him and Pretorious both available for the full tournament. Some dreadful catching though, if I'm being ultra critical. Rossington must be praying to the right god, whoever that is.
  7. Harry Redknapp has never been relegated, he is quite clear on this.
  8. He seems to fulfil the criteria of 'wouldn't want to get caught in bed with his missus' I expect from a centre half, which has to be a good start. I'm hoping he's being seen as a player who can come straight into the first team and not more fodder we're just looking to loan to Goatse and never actually play here.
  9. I think it's alright, personally. A little bit different and all the logos and sponsors at least fit neatly into the design, rather than looking like they've been stuck on as an afterthought.
  10. He’s clearly not had a good loan spell at the Baggies but he hasn’t suddenly forgotten how to be a good player overnight. Literally any player could replicate poor form from the past, it’s up to the management team to make sure we get the best out of Armstrong, as we did last season and two years at Blackburn before that. I never said he was guaranteed 20 goals, I asked which guaranteed 20 goal player you’d replace him with, which is the whole point. If you’re not replacing him with someone obviously better, then why replace him at all? Still has briefly alluded to the need to be flexible in how we play. If he can’t adjust the way we play to accommodate a player who scored 65 goals in his last three full Championship seasons, then we’ve got bigger problems than Armstrong.
  11. What makes you think we're in a hurry to sell him that cheap? That's barely a profit on the £20m we bought him for last summer.
  12. He's not had any notable fitness issues, so there's no reason he can't replicate the form we all know he's capable of at Championship level. I get that people want rid of almost all our players but which guaranteed 20 plus goal a season scorer are you proposing we replace him with?
  13. Sounds pretty narcissistic, to be interested in yourself like that.
  14. We’ve already got four other strikers who are to some extent proven at Championship level. Onuachu is one wage packet too many in that department, seems like a no brainer to get him out if someone will have him.
  15. Clingfilm is for pussies, real men just eat everything first time.
  16. That's the first I've heard about this, what issues is he causing in the dressing room? I don't rate Jack as a PL player in any way but if we're talking about a reserve CB in the Championship then the threshold has been set by Danny Seaborne and Darren Powell. You're going to be severely disappointed if you think that better players than Wood and Stephens are going to come here and sit on our bench.
  17. We've got work to do but we aren't getting rid of 35 players, or whatever it is we've got on the books at the moment. Whether we like it or not, more than half of them will still be here next season.
  18. I'm not going to argue the keepers because I know I'm in a minority but Stephens is perfectly adequate in the Championship, especially if he's not first choice. Any player we sign in that league is going to make mistakes, that's why they're in the Championship.
  19. Sekou Mara looked superb in a handful of apps. for the U21s.
  20. He was at some point but I can't believe we'd have offered him the same terms to be our second or third choice keeper when he signed a new deal last summer. If he is on some stupid salary then chances are we wont have any suitors anyway.
  21. If we're only including players I realistically think might stay, personally I'd keep: Keepers: Bazunu, McC Defenders: Bree, THB, Edwards, Stephens, Wood, Welly Midfielders: Downes, Charles, Smallbone, Edozie, Dibling, Robinson Forwards: Stewart, Archer, BBD, Archer That's a solid enough base of a Championship squad, although clearly needing reinforcements in midfield and at FB.
  22. You're on several threads every day posting about it and it's becoming tiresome. Plenty of people don't rate him and have voiced their opinion, you're the only one taking it to a multiple times a day obsession. Give it a rest.
  23. Whatever he has brought to the dressing room this season I can live without. Watching us this season, I can't for the life of me figure out what it is he has brought to the party.
  24. I'll say third, behind Sheff Utd and Leicester (in that order).
  25. You've made your point a hundred times over, you need to give it a rest with this. Obsessively posting about Bazunu (deliberately spelling his name wrong is just childish) every couple of hours on multiple threads is just strange behaviour.
