  1. I’m not really clear on what your point is here. Unless he’s injured his back picking up his wallet at some point, I don’t get how earning more money has any bearing on his fitness issues.
  2. So? Why is that Bournemouth team more relevant than the Derby team that went down with eleven points? We don’t know for certain how anyone will play but signing a bunch of substandard players as ‘options’ just seems daft to me. Players like Lallana, Ings, Wood and McC are the calibre we need to be replacing this summer, not signing.
  3. We’ve got more ‘options’ than you can poke a stick at. What we don’t have are more than three players who are good enough for the PL; KWP, THB and Taylor and one of them could be leaving.
  4. So you’ve no idea if Argentina, Spain and France are any better than Latvia, Kyrgyzstan and the US Marshall Islands?
  5. Which are the top three, top quality teams we’ve beaten in that time, would you say?
  6. Which magazine?
  7. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cl5y8n5d09qo Well, if there is a god we could do with a favour.
  8. He could be key in this cabinet.
  9. It’s not been a great game for the neutrals, which ironically would be the Swiss.
  10. I think we’d all be somewhat underwhelmed if after all this talk of booting the Tories out of power, all we effectively got was a roughly 5% shift in the makeup of parliament.
  11. That’s not an answer, it’s just a link to various different systems used in other countries. Which system do YOU want implemented in the UK?
  12. It’s what Diana would have wanted.
  13. I’ve still yet to hear what system people actually want and how it will be implemented in the UK. Mathematically PR isn’t possible without either massively fluctuating numbers of MPs (who will all want a salary) or allocating MPs to constituencies where they weren’t voted for.
  14. It’s not before he’s played one minute of a game though, he’s played many minutes of over 70 games for Swansea and their fans aren’t too impressed, even a league below. That’s what’s concerning.
  15. Just the six hours since Portugal last scored in this tournament.
  16. So far, I’m kind of with you. Taylor should be the bottom end of the quality we’re trying to recruit, not the (so far) best of the lot. It’s not panic button time because there’s plenty of window to go but Lallana, McCarthy, Wood…. Eehhhh.
  17. I wouldn’t say ‘excellent’, the best player out of that lot is a LB who just got relegated with Burnley. Taylor is a sensible free signing and Edwards looks a decent prospect but I can’t say any of them are particularly inspiring.
  18. Why? It’s four yellows for a second suspension.
  19. Whiffs of Peter Crouch against Everton there, Torres had to welly it into the net or the car park.
  20. He was okay as backup when we were chasing promotion, in the PL he will look like a fish up a tree.
  21. He was consistently very suspect at Championship level. This season he’ll be an absolute liability in any games he’s asked to play, he needs to go.
  22. No we're not. A very small number of people on the internet do not represent Britain.
  23. Which PR system do people want? I've never claimed to have any answers but the people complaining haven't put forward a credible proposal either. The Libs, with the most to gain from this, went all in on some useless AV system when they got a whiff of power in 2010 and it fell flat on it's face. We have a system where every constituency has a local MP who represents them and most elections produce a majority for somebody to form a government. I didn't say I'm happy because "reasons". I've literally given you my reasons. I want a certain level of volatility, so that anyone who underperforms - such as Sunak and Corbyn - suffers a significant loss in parliament. I want somebody in charge, with a significant level of authority. Those are my 'reasons'.
  24. I'm going to be unpopular again and say I don't have a problem with FPTP. I want a government to rule the country for the next five years, I don't want some broad spectrum commitee, trying to please everyone. Surely this election and the last prove just how easily your party can be wiped out by being a bit sh*t or irrelevant. I don't know or care how every other democracy in the world works but I'm quite happy with ours.
  25. They're under 25, they've got no money, it's always been a bit like that. They'll have a rethink, try and forge a new identity and probably get through two more leaders before the next GE. Basically they'll be a bit like Liverpool, post Klopp. I'd say we're set for two terms of Labour, unless they do something disasterous, but after that a lot could have changed in ten years.
