  1. His ‘navigation’ mainly consisted of going 1-0 up against Serbia and then being sh*t for the remaining four hours of football. Don’t forget in 2018 he bizarrely managed to get a favourable draw by losing to Belgium and finishing second. To do that and then get Colombia, Sweden and Croatia was an astonishing turn of luck.
  2. Neither has 75% of the football league. Saints are basically the Slovenia of the PL, I wouldn’t have expected them to win something major against the likes of City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
  3. We’ve only actually won two games.
  4. Saints have had far more bottle than England. Promotion in 2011 and 2012, the JPT, Anfield in 2017, Swansea away in 2018, the 2024 playoffs. We’re not perfect by a long way but there have been many times when we’ve held our nerve and got the job done.
  5. Let’s be honest, superb individual finishes from Saka, Bellingham, Palmer and Watkins, combined with another incredibly kind set of fixtures, have glossed over a pretty poor England team.
  6. Our overseas contribution in the Blast this season has been dreadful, we’ve made an absolute dog’s dinner of replacing Nelly in our attack. Neser was mediocre at best and only ever in it for half the tournament, which isn’t great. Then through one reason or another we don’t get any replacement. Add in Orr’s injury and McD and Turner’s total loss of form from last season and there are just too many players not doing enough. Howell, Dawson and Fuller are decent middle order allrounders but they can’t do it all. Too often the openers leave us 35/3 at the end of the PP, or we end up with three bowlers averaging over 10.
  7. Please can we at least check basic spelling when posting obviously nonsense Twitter stories as absolute fact. Thanks.
  8. Good grief, someone posted that as if it’s actually informative knowledge. 😂
  9. Because that’s what egos do. We’ve all worked with some kn*bhead who was sh*t at his job but also thought it was beneath him and he needed to move on upwards.
  10. It does make you wonder how important you need to be to get assassinated, rather than murdered.
  11. You couldn't pay me to stand behind a politician at one of these rallies for precisely this reason.
  12. He won player of the season in a year when everyone was terrible and he played well for half a season. This was followed by 45 minutes in an England shirt for a friendly. He was once alright for six months, six years ago. I don't think he's a better keeper, the majority of his time here people have been desperate for him to be replaced.
  13. Even if you ignore Fourpast, I’d take Bazunu over Gazzaniga, Stekelenburg, McCarthy, Blayney, Bart and probably Kelvin. I want to say Moss too but I have no recollection of ever seeing him play for us.
  14. Quite clearly not true, I’m not sure what you’re trying to prove with hysterics.
  15. They look like they’re having a pyjama party.
  16. We don't make it easy for ourselves, keep playing the middle overs like it's a county game. Fair play to Benny, dragging us out of that. One great, three wicket over from Wheal but Turner was again well off it. With no Baartman, it looks like we're just going to coast through the rest of our fixtures.
  17. I'm aware of that, thank you. Sadly I'm struggling to think of UK chart hits which actually features the lyric, 'sugawara'.
  18. Finally getting the recognition I deserve!
  19. TBH I'd always assumed that was likely even if we were promoted, so it's hardly a surprise. If anything surprised me it's that he stayed last season, so if he leaves it'll be with my best wishes. Anyway, now let's get cracking on some 'sugar' based songs for the new guy.
  20. TBH I actually quite like the colour of the fake/mock-up above. I’d be more concerned that the sponsor is a great big white, stuck on, plastic splodge, which doesn’t match the kit at all.
  21. I watched bits of it. You have to say it’s been a dreadful tournament for McD and Turner. Wheal I can forgive to an extent, he’s an average squad player having to fill in when required. Oh well, we were due a bad season in the Blast. Need to do our homework on a couple of new overseas players for next year I think.
  22. That’s a foul outside the box.
  23. I wouldn’t say, “all the cards,” as such either. Clearly there is an advantage to them with the contract lengths but everything else is still in play. They risk KWP losing interest and taking a deal elsewhere, whilst we will have options other than Downes. Overall is say £15m each is probably a fair price.

    Israel

Those are the key words there. What they’ll admit to knowing, who they were really after and how they knew they were there, we’ll never know.

    Israel

Yes but in Gaza there is actually likely to be some merit in what the IDF are saying. Knowing the way all three of those organisations operate I'd say it's possible, bordering on likely that: Hamas deliberately places militants in schools and hospitals The IDF will go after them, not giving a f**k who gets hurt. Russia is quite happy to blow up a hospital full of children with cancer with no military objective, simply because they're c**ts. Who (and how many) the IDF were actually after we will probably never know.
