Great shout. Something a bit 'Rachel Stevens' about her.

You beat me to that one. Talk about not playing to your strengths, some of those girls are like a midget in a high jump contest.

Mercedes F1 driver Nico Rosberg.

My faves, most of which have already been covered were: Beattie shutting the Skates up after they had booed the minutes silence for Ted Bates. Beattie at West Ham, winning it in injury time then a big pile up into the net. Rasiak at Derby, just for the emotion of it. Pahars vs Skates Pahars jumping into the crowd against Liverpool Kenyne Jones, always good for a few somersaults. Channon, obviously Skacel, always thought his celebration was odd, but kinda cool Walcott vs Stoke. McQ grabbing him and dragging him back towards the Northam.

Actually I've changed my mind about Petrov after seeing his reaction to Alonso giving him the fist. Swerving towards him, then calling him a w**ker.

I'm actually delighted with this. Firstly because I've liked Red Bull since they were Stewart, all the way through the disappointing Jaguar years, then Coulthard's stint with the team. Vettel... I'm undecided. I always quite liked him, but he really acted like a tw*t in Turkey. Was really p*ssed at him when he wiped Jenson out at Spa when it was looking so good for McLaren. Overall though, asside from Red Bull's favouritism and the finger, he aint bad for a German. I think I like him more for just not being Alonso/Ferrari. Also good to have variety with a new WDC and Red Bull having their first WDC/WCC too. Been a great season though, after it all looked so bleak in Bahrain. I wish McLaren had been a bit more competitive, but for a neutral I'm sure this year was great. Good Points The McLaren partnership - Everyone saying there would be squabbles and Jenson would get his arses handed to him. In reality there seems to be a decent harmony and Jenson has very much kept Lewis honnest. 5 excellent wins to, including the best of the season at Spa. Kubica - Really taken that Renault places it didn't deserve to be (sorry Ponty). Hopefully he can get a win next year. No driver dominating - 5 different winners and the Championship leader didn't win a race all season. Really amazing stat. Belgian Grand Prix - It was brilliant. Michael Schumacher - Arse handed to him by Rosberg, never even got on the podium. Damon Hill giving him a penalty in Monaco was the icing on the cake. Up yours you cheating craut w**ker. Kobayashi - A very solid debut season. People said he was overhyped after last years cameo, but he has put in some decent performance Bad Points Ferrari - I don't care what anyone else says, I hate it when they fudge results like they did in Germany. Massa - A waste of a very good seat. I've never seen why people rate him at all. Pay drivers - Petrov and Yamamoto just aren't up to it. Hispania - Been a bit of a farce. Bahrain, Barcelona et al - Absolute borefests. There were probably a couple of others that boring, but they hardly stuck in my mind. Red Bull Favouritism - You can see why, being an Austrian company, but Webber seems like a smashing bloke and deserved so much better.

Crap grid if like me you don't want Fernando winning. Let's hope he retires.

The rational part of me thinks it is their right to protest. I don't agree with it at all but if it really floats their boat... The irrational part of my brain wonders where a skinhead with a knife is when you really need one.

Pretty good record against them last season though. Played them home away and neutral and got 2 wins and a draw. There are no Norwich's or Leeds' this season, we should be going all out to win this one. I'd play a team of: Davis FR - Fonte - Seaborne - Harding Puncheon - Chaplow - Hammond - Lallana Rickie - Barnard

Button: "Alonso title win would be tainted"

Ferrari crossed the line by actually fixing the result. McLaren, Ferrari and BMW Sauber have all in the passed ask drivers to let a team mate past because they're on different strategies or because one driver can't mathematically win the Championship. If Ferrari did it again in Abu Dhabi I wouldn't batter an eyelid. Why? Because now it's just logical, Massa can't win the Championship. Neither can Button, so I'd expect him to move out of Hamilton's way. It's not detracting from the race. You can't go a whole season doing that though, it would just be a farce. Lets say next season Red Bull were clearly the quickest ahead of Ferrari, who had a comfortable gap to McLaren. The Red Bull said we are going to favour Vettel, Ferrari likewise Alonso and McLaren also with Hamilton. Would you turn the TV on at 4am for the Aussie Grand Prix thinking, "OMG I wonder who's going to finish 7th in this one!"? -
Wasn't the Beattie and Pahars combination the most succesful strike partnership in the Premier League the season before the cup final? Something like 30 odd goals between them. There is no doubting Brett's work rate was a possitive influence on the team, but he wasn't the sole reason Beattie scored goals. I really couldn't pick between Ormerod and Barnard. Both excellent at this level, but neither has proven themselves higher up.

There's a difference between what Ferrari and Mclaren did. In Hockenheim '08 Hamilton was far ahead of Heikki and would have beaten him easily but for a badly timed safety car which coincided with his pit stop. Kovi was 5th (I think) and was holding up Lewis on a different strategy. If Kovi hadn't let him through Mclaren would have been 5th and 6th instead of 1st and 6th. It's a tactical move, whereas Ferrari just swapped a 1-2 around for 1-2. There have been many instances of team mates letting each other through for a tactical advantage, but few were just the race fixing Ferrari have been guilty of. Montreal '08 Heidfeld lets Kubica through into the lead on a different strategy. Kubica builds a big enough lead, pits and gets a BMW 1-2. If Heidfeld hadn't let him through Kubica would have been about 10th. -

If we can keep Michael off the top of the podium, it will be the first full season in his career when he has failed to win a race (although USA was his only win in 2005 and that really doesn't count). Did you know Michael and Villeneurve never shared the podium in 1997? -

If a perfectly legal aerodynamic part had been illegal, he wouldn't have won the Championship? I really don't see how that taints his championship. It's not in the same league as race fixing or blatant cheating. -
Nothing to get, it's just a naff joke about Windows 98 being a bit crap.

So it's kind of like Windows 98?

Cactus.

Big crunch definitely. Gravity has near infinite range and will eventually drag the whole lot big to where it all started. All human endeavour is, ultimately futile so if you want you might as well post tubgirl, it makes no difference in the end.

Sorry, that should read 1/x
-
Is x^-1 not just 1/x or have I got that wrong? Haven't done this shizzle in years.
-
Yeah, I agree it will make us unpopular with some people. It's all a balancing act though I suppose.
-
Of course they will see it that way, but they will hate us regardless of how we treat terror suspects. Terrorists aren't going to lighten up with we let all our prisoners play hop scotch and eat fairy cakes.
-
4/x = 7/8 Therefore x = 32/7

Tainted by a perfectly legal aerodynamic inovation? -
It's a delicate issue, but I'd say I'm in the 'fight fire with fire' camp on this one. When you dealing with some of the most evil b*stards on the face of the Earth, torture is justified IMO. It's a pretty simple concept which many fail to comprehend, that if you do certain things, you forfeit certain rights. Like prisoners not having the right to vote. If you are involved in the massacre of innocent civilians, you deserve ANYTHING coming your way. If you can't handle that, don't do it. I'm not saying put the thumb screws on anyone with a beard, but if you've got a guy you know knows something...
