  1. If it’s true it’s another mess made by the club. Another hole to fill.
  2. Don't know if he'll develop into more than he is but seems to me there's a lot of recency bias rather than season long view. His strength is as a DM and we've got a number of CM with that trait at the club, whereas Charles is our only CM who offers more of a threat.
  3. I'm hoping we keep hold of Charles. If we have to sell a midfielder i'd hope it would be Jander.
  4. No I rate both types of midfielder and think the variety is important. For much of the unbeaten run him and Shea were rotating starts.
  5. For such a complete cm, I seem to have missed his goals/assists in that game i certainly remember the Leicester where he was dragged off after 45 minutes for actively playing for Leicester.
  6. Sounds a far better description of jander honestly
  7. Personally I'd swap order of jander and charles in that list.
  8. He seems to get joy out of saints having bad managers, so no surprise he's anti tonda
  9. Just hoping we can actually cash in on ramsdale this time rather than being stuck with another loan.
  10. Still hoping we keep Charles. Talk earlier in the season was that we have option to extend him an extra year.
  11. Yep i'm very much hoping we can get him.
  12. He was good for us in the prem but that was years ago. He’s 31 now and yes legs do go as players get older, especially one who’s whole success was covering every blade of grass. His fall from grace at WH, forest and Burnley isn’t some glitch.
  13. With peretz likely not a goer, I’m hoping saints can get Shea’s brother from Sheffield Wednesday.
  14. Please no. He hasn't got the legs to play cm at any high level.
  15. Because they really respect his ability as a coach, which is what matters for their careers moving forward. Peretz has already come out with a positive message about him.
  16. I know some nobody lawyer has spouted mights/maybe/possible case garbage about terminating contracts but seems pretty far fetched to me, so I’ll believe it when I see it. Curious are Leicester fans having to suffer this garbage as they actually were relegated due to the 6 point league sanction whereas we missed on a playoff against a team that beat us twice.
  17. Agree completely. Like last season there will be a few out to balance the books, with some of that being reinvested in the squad. If the board permit a mass exodus they should be sacked.
  18. keep, unless FA decide we can’t. We’ve a good young manager and a club with a terrible record at appointing managers. Ripping it up and starting won’t lead anywhere good. This whole movement to self flagellate is weird to me.
  19. Really disappointing how pathetic Everton are playing. Zero effort.
  20. Glad to see they didn't benefit from their lucky loser status.
  21. Amateurish, surely you bring in that top lawyer for the initial hearing, not after the horse has bolted
  22. Agree with Hull that if we are expelled they should get a walkover. Lawyers are going to have a big pay day.
  23. If we're stupid enough to sack him he'll get a job abroad as what he was doing is considered perfectly normal everywhere else.
  24. I’d take hyperbole tonight with a pinch of salt, especially when the word may is used. There doesn’t seem to be a legal precedent for players tearing up contracts because club gets a league punishment. Even bosman ruling took 5 years to go through the courts.
  25. Can’t see how any players would have any legal course of action. Leicester players don’t seem to be doing so. A couple will force their way out like they did last summer but club would be morons if they permitted a mass exodus of key players.
