Conte's comments are a bit daft. As Ralph said once they scored they sat back which i think was a major error.
-
Yep they made me look like an idiot. They can do that all the time if we keep winning.
-
Think he's a player that in a bad team looks worse but now we've got a better team we're able to see the fruits of his positive attributes more.
-
Yeah i assume the club will have all the biometrics on recovery etc to decide it. If someone does drop out i'd expect it to be Perraud as KWP is our top fullback back imo and seems to have a great engine.
-
If Tino's fully fit for the weekend i think there could be an argument that he's fresher than KWP/Perraud but i certainly think they odd situation where Livramento played every minute of first half of season shouldn't re-occur whilst we've got 3 good players.

Fabulous first half by saints. Tore spurs apart just minus a little touch of luck and finishing. Great response to the (feeling of injustice for spurs second. Now Broja may have been backing in slightly(so ref said no foul) but its still a head injury and should have been stopped instantly. Equally glad Spurs rested on their laurels thinking they'd won it because they had all the momentum and all the fresh legs. I still think Diallo could have been on much earlier but they ended up making me look like an idiot for screaming for it from the 60 minute mark onwards.. Capped off my the late accidental offside that saved saints the win when spurs fans and players thought they'd equalised. Adam Armstrong even further in the cold when Walcott is preferred to him as a late harrier.

3-2. What do i know!!! I'd still like Diallo for Armstrong who looks shagged.
-
Its weaker but he's still got options.
-
Atrocious decision by the ref/var But sorry they've made 3 changes and we've made none despite them being completely on top. Just suicidal
-
Ralph useless again at using his subs. Momentum clealry changed once spurs made their subs. So ralph decides to do nothing. Just infuriating.
-
Yeah but there's no way that gets a cursory 2 second check if that's one of the title chasing teams.
-
Bad VAR again. That looked like a handball(penalty) to me, certainly more than a 2 second review that was used. Fantastic performance by saints (just not the finishing/luck to go along with it) Sure we'll be made pay because spurs won't be that bad in the 2nd half.

Any streams of tonight's game? Tried hesgoal but doesn't seem to be working for me at least(ignore me its working now).
-
Surprised we didn’t go 5 at the back like last time against them. Bench is still ok imo even if we are missing the likes of tella/Redmond and livramento.

That’s bad news about lyanco. Was hoping he’d just be out for a month.

'stick the boot in' by yelling Maiow every time he touches the ball. -
Ralph to bow out in around 2 years (2024)

Very silly thing to say imo. Short term probably little impact as its still some way off. However if he's still here for that last year it'll likely be horrrible. Hope the club wouldn't accept such a scenario and would cut him loose early. -
Yeah it worked well last time till Salisu's moment of madness. So while i think it was a mistake against coventry i'd be happy to see it on Wed instead of a 4-2-2-2
-
Shame his debut didn't go as hoped. Looked good going forward but hopefully coaches can work with him on his positional sense defensively. Was nice seeing before the game seeing KWP with his arm around him giving him advice.
-
Last time we played them we went 5-3-2 if memory serves me right. So something like.. Forster, KWP, Stephens, Bednarek, Salisu, Perraud JWP Romeu Armstrong Broja Adams

Not a good draw but at least we are at home. Other disappointing thing is how easy the big teams draws are. To have a real chance of winning we need to start thinning them out & i don't really see Luton/Peterborough or Norwich doing that. -
Back from the game. First half we were awful and luckily got in one nil down. Just seemed nothing to our play. The 5-3-2 wasn’t the right choice for this sort of game imo. Small has to get better at defending. A few times he looked a threat going forward but that’s not the bread and butter. A.Armstrong reminds me of early Adams before he got the city goal. Looked a bit lost unfortunately. Of the fringe players Valery was probably the best but still had one horror show of a backpass in the 2nd half. The positives, it was a win. That was a glorious goal by Stu Armstrong.

Newcastle transfers are generally sort of calibre you'd expect given their situation. Most good players aren't going to go there while they are stuck in a relegation battle. Massively overpaying for steady players makes some sense. Worse case scenario the likes of Burn/Wood will help them get re-promoted.

Find the rumoured Cantwell from Norwich to Bournemouth very odd. His stock has really dropped / he must have really burned some bridges at Norwich.
-
You could easily go down a rabbit hole with a broad definition of dangerous which would be bad for the game. Players can get injured in all sorts of ways.
