Just hope Tella starts.

Would be a very good piece of business if we could get it done. If it happens wonder if they'd be interested in taking Fraser on loan for a portion of his wages.

Total Saints Podcast (2021/22 Season)

Interesting interview. Really not a fan of the enthusiasm to stage premier league games all over the world. -
Retrieving the ball, then trying to decide who to throw to. Should be multiple red cards per game if that’s how football is managed from any stop in play.
-
Very annoyed after watching the Swiss- NI game. Ref ruined the game by red carding Jamal Lewis because he took 19 seconds to take a throw in.
-
Fingers crossed they get relegated this season.
-
Damn thought that takeover was dead, didn’t want another country owning a Prem club.
-
huh, Watford have sacked thie manager. Didn't expect that.

You Can Only Pick One......thankfully

Maybe Djenepo -
KWP was one of our best players for the majority of the game. For the 2nd I'd put as much blame on the players on other side sitting back and letting Barkley have complete freedom to pick out the pass
-
Think it would have been very harsh to disallow it. When the shot actually happens Mccarthy's view is clear and ball goes nowhere near Azpilueta. Still there's been some inconsistent interpretation of that sort of thing this season.
-
Happy to give him more time. Been pretty positive with exception of wolves game and lack of tactical changes in the Everton one. Next run of games is going to be pivotal.
-
I'm not sure he needs to go for that challenge at 1-1. I still think its never a red card. Yellow card was completely the right call. Terrible decision by VAR to effectively overrule the ref imo.
-
Good to see a more positive result..
-
Don't agree. With exception of Wolves game we've been pretty good in a tough run. If he comes out of the the much easier(on paper) 4/5 games with bad results picture may change.
-
First half were overrun too often but showed some bright moments. Ralph made the right tactical move at HT and we played very well and got deserved equalizer JWP challenge was never a red imo. Not off the ground, one footed, barely catches player. Yellow card was right call but once he was called to monitor you knew he'd change his mind. 2nd goal came from our inability to put pressure on the initial ball by (barkley?) Felt we should have brought adams on for armstrong when down to 10, to give us a physical presence to aim for. Shame Mccarth's save for 3rd didn't count. His save at 1-1 was top quality. No doubt his detractors will describe it as a routine save. Good to see Tella finally get a game. Offered a lot with his pace. Hope he's a regular fixture in the team.

KWP has been excellent most of the game. The loss is on the ref for his appalling red card decision.
-
Not sure the difference between that salisu challenge and the JWp one.
-
I think that's a bizarre red card. He's not off the ground.

Chelsea are playing some very good football. We were fortunate with the first var as we weren't playing for offside and were cut to threds. just fortunate lukaku was a couple of inches off. Thought second var could havce been disallowed for multiple reasons(ball looked out of play too), so not sure why Chelsea fans are booing. Our threat has come from KWP/Tella on the left. Livramento looks off it today. Wonder if at some point we'll take him off for perraud and switch KWP. Wonder if Diallo might be the first sub for walcott, maybe changing to more of a 4-5-1.
-
Thought he had a few nice moments on the break. Decent strike in first half, just a shame it was down the keepers throat. Service to him into the box from midfield was pretty abysmal. Once again annoyingly Djenepo refused the quick pass to him when well placed late on.
-
Made 2 decent saves today. No fault for the goal for me, yes he ends up slightly left of centre but no chance of saving that regardless of where he is stood.
-
I think we missed his ability on the ball. Bednarek and Salisu are very limited in that regard.
-
Worst performance of the season by quite some way. Slow, ponderous, midfield refused to show any bravery on the ball. Thought prowsey was very poor. Twice in presentable positions to shoot and passed the buck. Goal we conceded was an embarassing long ball where bednarek was simply outmuscled. No clue why Ralph decided playing with 10 men(plus long) was a smart idea. Tella who was one of the best players against Sheff Utd completely ignored.

Pitiful by Saints. Every player wanting to shirk responsibility
