In what way is he tall? He's a smidge taller than Stephens and smaller than both Bednarek and Salisu, neither of whom are giants. I didn't expect us to spend £20M but i did expect something more in the 10-15M bracket. Maybe he'll turn out to be great but on surface he doesn't seem to address at all the need for more aerial power.

Well we signed Armstrong on a Tuesday and he played on a Saturday. Even if they aren't ready to play, it would be benefificial to get them in and training with others asap. Ideally have them be able to play in the Newport game. The vestergaard deal has been sorted since towards the end of last week(and we knew he was likely off all summer and must have had target list identified) so i don't see why we should delay.
