What a joke bringing on long ahead of tella
-
Disappointed not to see Tella come on yet.
-
Really poor first half display. Seem really slow and ponderous so far. Need a massive improvement in the 2nd half.
-
I was concerned Stephens might be out for much longer, so 10/12 weeks while disappointing is somewhat a relief
-
Hopefully fact he was withdrawn was to save him for premier league.

perfect. Through with fringe players getting more gametime. -
I assumed he was just being retained as the warm up keeper (like when we had Stuart Taylor)
-
10 points would be a very disappointing haul from those games. hoping for more like 12-14

Forster, KWP, Lyanco, Salisu, Perraud, Diallo, JWP, Tella, Djenepo, Adams, Broja -
No, he was just ok.
-
I don't think he was paid off. I simply think he was influenced by the fact it was Man City, not quite as blatant as he first though and didn't apply the rules.
-
I thought it was(especially once given), put his leg across to stop the attacker and didn't get any of the ball.
-
Fab point and display by Saints. Still annoyed at the overturned penalty. Was so worried how long it took them to call Sterling offside.
-
That's disgraceful he gets none of the ball. No way that would have been overturned if it was city.
-
Decent Half. Still think it's probably only a matter of time. Would like to see Tella at some point relatively soon.
-
On first viewing thought he should have shot and then there's potential for rebound.
-
Looks like Knee. Let's hope Lyanco can get up to speed quickly in case he's needed.

Jack Stephens' passion & has he improved?

After watching the highlights, i loved the way Stephens wound up Antonio where they both ended up getting booked. -
Personally hope we don't go 5 at the back, that's asking to get a pasting against a team that rarely plays one out and out striker. Some form of 4-5-1/4-1-4-1, with as much pace as possible in the 10's.

England/Hungary/Racism Discussion (Split)

I could maybe understand a points deduction/threat of one for the sort of wide scale behavior in Bulgaria game, but in instances where it was so few most didn’t even seem to be aware of it. -
Carl Anka - Summer 2017 contender for worst transfer window

Puel was certainly more accepting of the club philosophy whereas koeman was pretty hostile to it. I’m not a puel fan and found his football exceedingly dull but I don’t how that how he went along with carnage. Boufal/gabbiadini as manager influenced buys are nowhere near the level of bad of Pellegrino year. -

I do find it nuts that that fifa and uefa can’t co-ordinate at all regarding fan bans. Not a fan of this take a knee rite for evermore approach. the small amount of racist chanting wasn’t inspired by it but by their team getting smashed. Expect it’ll generate stadium ban that should have already been in place. -
14th would be my guess too looking at teams in the league. Still hoping we can outperform that though.

Ben White May develop into a very good CB but 50m for someone with promise was a crazy choice imo. Especially as they already have a young cb they spent a bundle on (Saliba) that they seem intent on loaning to France without ever playing. Ramsdale, once again buying promise expensively, when they’ve already got a good first choice. Haven’t seen the Japanese guy so can’t comment if he’s going revolutionize them. Not even sure selling willock to bring in odegaard is that wonderful a deal.
