Feel arsenal’s Window has been terrible. Overpaid on players & despite huge spend don’t seem any stronger.

Would have thought Blackburn would have been a better move as Swansea seem a bit of a mess. There were flashes from him but think he needed to leave. If he knuckles down he could do well in the championship.

I get people don't like Mccarthy but what is he supposed to do from a header in the middle of the 6 yard box and a rebound in the 6 yard box. He made a couple of decent saves, its on the rest of the team to be shutting those chances down earlier.

He told the ref to go check it, which is the procedure for (i think it's a pen but you go and check for yourself)

Think Dean was saying it was a fair attempt to get the ball, no red, not that he was saying it was no penalty.

Cracking save in the first half today and came and claimed nicely at the end when my nerves were shot at 2-2. Can't see how he could have done much about either goal.

So thought we'd managed to mess it up. So glad we got the point at least we deserved. Thought Salisu was immense today. Hope we can extend his contract quickly if he carries on like that(people saying we aren't better at CB with a maturing Salisu are wrong imo) Redmond great impact from the bench. Never been sure about elyounessi but he looked better today, maybe helped as we have pace elsewhere. Armstrong was a bit quiet on homecoming till the late drama.

Frustrating not to take advantage of the early dominance. That first miss by djenepo was horrible. They've grown into the game and fortunately Mccarthy made a good save to keep it level.

Think KWP has been impressive in both outings on the left(though newport was very weak opp). Perraud hasn't been terrible but when one of your best players from the previous season shows impressive form at left back i think it was the obvious decision to see if it works from the start.

Don't see how about £35M on three established players equates to let's go with kids.

Happy to hear news of potential new contract. Long term i hope Lyanco is a more complete player and becomes first choice.

Amazed the CB they spent £27M on Saliba isn't considered good enough to play for them still. They'd rather play Kolasenac as a CB. With all the money they've just let Arteta spend i'm doubtful they are going to sack him soon either.

Guess it gives utd another reason not to play martial again. Seems a very expensive short term signing but if it wins them league or champions league i’m Sure it’ll be seen as worth it.
